Josimar Dias Family Timeline (1986–2026) | The Roots Behind Cape Verde’s Hero

In this video, we trace the family timeline of Josimar José Évora Dias, better known as Vozinha - from his childhood in Cape Verde and the influence of his parents and grandparents to the long journey that eventually turned him into one of the most inspiring football stories of his generation.

This chronology follows the personal roots behind the goalkeeper: the story of how his father wanted to name him after a World Cup star, the family environment that shaped him, the childhood nickname that stayed with him for life, and the years of hard work that led him from local football to representing Cape Verde on the world stage.

Beyond the saves and the headlines is a deeper human story - one built on family, sacrifice, identity, perseverance, and national pride. This is not only the story of Vozinha the goalkeeper, but also of the family foundation that helped create Josimar Dias.
