Today, we’re making low-carb Big Mac Tacos featuring crispy shells made from cheddar cheese and pickles instead of traditional tortillas! The filling consists of juicy ground beef and a rich, homemade Big Mac sauce—no flour, no bread, high in protein, and perfect for an easy keto dinner.

Ingredients for Big Mac sauce:
2 small shallots
1 tbsp butter (15 g)
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (15 ml)
1 pickle
4 tbsp plain yogurt (60 g)
1 tsp Dijon mustard (5 g)
A splash of balsamic vinegar
Salt and black pepper

For the tacos:
1/2 lb ground beef (225 g)
1 pickle
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)

Nutritional value per Big Mac Taco (1 of 3):
368 kcal | 24 g protein | 27 g fat | 6.5 g total carbohydrates | 0.9 g fiber | 5.6 g net carbs

Method:
Sauté the thinly sliced ​​shallots in butter until golden. Add the balsamic vinegar and cook for a few more minutes until the mixture darkens and thickens.
Finely chop 1 pickle and mix it with the yogurt, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and the cooked shallots.
Sauté the ground beef over medium heat for about 10 minutes until evenly browned. Divide the cheddar cheese into three circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place a few pickle slices on each circle and bake for 10 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
Evenly distribute the ground beef onto the hot cheese rounds, add 1 tablespoon of Big Mac sauce to each, and fold them in half.
