We are in the season guys! Yes, soon it will be Christmas and there is no Christmas in Jamaica without the Christmas cake and, yes, SORREL! In fact I'm hearing that we are also using the sorrel to make sorrel Christmas cake as well! Well today, I have the pleasure of visiting Ms. Kathlyn at her farm in Somerton, St. James, Jamaica.

She'll show us how to plant and harvest this Jamaican favorite. But she wasn't done as yet, she had a special surprise for us!

She showed us how to prepare the sorrel drink and treated us with some, spiced with cinnamon, ginger, pimento, rice, sugar and Jamaican rum! You'd savor this !
