My September drawing challenge: an owl and a hawk from memory, with no mind's eye.

Seven things to draw in September: aster, morning glory, the hazel tree, an owl, a hawk, a ladybug and a school bus. I test how much I remember about the owl and hawk from earlier this year, talk about drawing with aphantasia, and share how this practice helped me rebuild a face from a grainy 1980s photo for a commission.
