Something Weird Was Just Found Off the Coast of Western Australia

A production team searching remote WA waters found two ships in the same expedition, sunk eight years apart from each other, both sitting on the seafloor intact and upright, almost as if they'd been carefully placed there rather than violently wrecked. One of them, the Rodondo, went down in 1894 carrying roughly 200 people and a seven tonne gold mining engine during the height of the gold rush. Nearly everyone survived, including a woman named Jesse, whose own grandson had no idea any of it happened until researchers tracked him down in South Australia, more than a century later. The other, the Langstone, sank within half an hour of leaving port in 1902, hours after her crew deliberately delayed departure to avoid the bad luck of sailing on a Friday.
