Finding a murderer is where things get complicated.

When a struggling slacker known as Dirt Merchant loses his job at a record company, he takes work as a process server hoping to get his life back on track. But after a famous rock star dies from an apparent overdose, Dirt Merchant finds himself framed for murder and forced to investigate the crime himself.

As he races to clear his name, Dirt Merchant uncovers a bizarre world filled with eccentric suspects, shady music industry figures, dangerous criminals, obsessive fans, and enough twists to keep everyone guessing. Along the way he must navigate complicated relationships with his ex-girlfriend Angie while dealing with the rock star’s infamous adult-film-star girlfriend Holly So Tightly.

Part comedy, part detective story, and part Hollywood satire, DIRT MERCHANT delivers an offbeat mystery packed with laughs, colorful characters, and unexpected surprises.
