Unimaginable! That’s the only word I could find while driving from Montego Bay straight into Westmoreland after Hurricane Melissa. What I saw on this stretch - boy, I shook me.
In this video, I take you with me on a drive through Anchovy, Shettlewood, Withorn, Water Works, Cave, and Belmont, showing the real impact Melissa left behind on these rural communities. Flooding… landslides… broken homes… blocked roads… it’s something you truly have to see to understand.
And family, this is not the worst of it.
My own community, Beeston Spring, took an even more devastating hit — and that will be the third and final video in this series. That’s where I’ll show you exactly what happened up there.
