Arrival in EAST GREENLAND

The video is a travel vlog documenting the first day of a photography expedition by photographer Greg Snell and his colleague Nick Pa in remote East Greenland. Departing from Iceland and landing in Kulusuk, the group was lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights (aurora) on their very first night. The next morning, they traveled by speedboat—the primary mode of transportation since there are no roads in this area—to explore a stunning ice cave hidden beneath the Apushi glacier. The final destination of the day was the town of Tasiilaq, which will serve as their base camp for the next 6 days to explore the fjords, wildlife, and local culture. Notably, while shooting at the glacier, Greg unfortunately dropped and broke his Insta360 action camera.
