Flash flood warning hits Gilmer and Murray Counties

Meteorologist Alex Forbes reports a flash flood warning for Gilmer and Murray counties in northern Georgia. Heavy rainfall, exceeding 3 inches in some areas, has triggered the warning between Chatsworth and Ellijay. Due to the mountainous terrain, water runoff is rapid, increasing flood risks. Storms are currently moving toward the metro Atlanta area.
