And I met my band member at the time. And she said, you should come audition for this group that I'm in. I said, OK, cool. So I go. I audition in the group. And one of the first faces I see is Beyonce's. And I remember I had this lucky whistle around my neck. And I said, you want to see my lucky whistle? And we were 14, 15 years old. I just had a birthday in February. And Beyonce actually gave me a whistle for my birthday and wrote a note and said, day one's from day one, like on our friendship. You know what I mean? It was really sweet. So I always wear my lucky whistle. Down on the West Coast, they've got a saying. If you're a drinking, then you're a beer. Music, you've got the music in you, don't you? Down on the West Coast, I get this feeling like it all could happen. I swear I'm leaving you for the moment. You push it hard, I pull it warm. I'm feeling harder than fire.
