Mario Manzano is a Mexican self-taught nature photographer and creator of fine art black-and-white photography.
For more than three decades, he worked in consulting, research, and teaching in fields related to ecosystem and biodiversity conservation. His relationship with the landscape began in the field, long before he ever held a camera. Forests, deserts, rivers, and wetlands have been part of his life for many years.
Over time, he discovered in monochrome photography a way to translate this deep connection with nature into images that invite the viewer to pause and contemplate. His work has been exhibited in commercial galleries in Mexico, and he has been invited by public and private universities to present exhibitions of his photographic work. He also
maintains an active presence on social media, where he shares his visual exploration of nature and his evolving photographic journey.
