It's ******* intense, dude.
We need him to crab walk in the sauna.
They're not letting me in.
Got it.
I don't know. I'm hitting the rails for now.
How was the spot yesterday?
I got something. Not what I wanted, but it's something.
It was like super quick.
I'm hyped for you. I'm hyped you're back.
I still got plain legs.
We'll try and match Arrow's line.
See what he goes for.
Is he going switch?
How are we doing?
Wait, do you have a Red Bull hat on?
No! Are you serious?
What?
I was like, what the ****?
Congrats, bro.
Dude, I just saw you in the lift line and I was like, what's up with that beanie?
And then I saw the sticker and I was like, damn, that's real.
Alright, let's snowboard. I'm following you, Patrice.
Are you goofy?
Yeah, I'm goofy.
Alright, perfect.
Oh, he's going.
Mini jib.
That's so fun.
Hello.
I think it's actually really cool to finally get Red Bull Heavy Metal in Helsinki
because I've been a huge fan of the concept anyways
and they've been doing this in the US for the past three years
after that long period that they didn't do it.
I think the first one was in 2002 or something.
2001, like 25 years ago.
Because Helsinki is pretty known for being the mecca of street riding.
A lot of people come here to film, you know,
but there's never been like a huge international rail contest.
So finally, we got this here in Helsinki and look at the setup.
I designed the church. I built the church myself with my bare hands.
It's Tuomio Kirkos, Church of Doom.
Yeah, it's a good name for this contest too.
On the drawing board, it looked a little bit smaller than it does in real life
because I actually flew here yesterday.
I've just seen photos of people building.
I'm like, oh, it looks kind of mellow, you know.
Showed up, I'm just going to film something for the Insta.
Then I was on the top, I'm like, maybe I'm not going to film anything for the Insta.
Maybe I just watch the kids slay it.
But it looks nice when they hit it. For them, it's okay.
I just know I'm getting kind of old.
Look at the ledge. That's kind of mellow too if you drop from the side.
The landing pad is pretty nice.
Because usually when I hit the streets these days, it's only like foam pit snow.
Like it has to be like really powdery snow.
This is not, this is concrete. This is not powder snow.
Yeah, it's pretty mellow.
Yeah, so I'm still keeping the microphone and not shredding it.
But it's going to be like plus 8 degrees today.
So it's going to be t-shirt weather. It's going to be slushy.
I think it's going to be nice for the riders to ride.
This is the stuff you want to use on the rails.
Top secret, but now you get the brand.
So everybody can get this one.
Super good, super slippery.
Gets the raw stuff from the rails.
Muy bueno.
Just use a tiny bit because you don't need much.
So during the winter I work at Sappe resort.
Which is like southern Finland.
But besides that I got a hustle.
So I'm a waiter in this steak restaurant.
That like supports my hobbies.
So yeah, working a lot but at least I get to do this.
Which is beautiful. I'm thankful and it's all good man.
We have this organization.
We're putting up these easy access events.
Free events for people down south.
And we also do it now in Ylläs, Lapland.
Crazy days.
I've been a little bit sick.
You're going to have to cut out a lot of coughing.
Motherfucker!
Have you seen the clip of Gandalf skating Mordor?
I'm putting it out there now.
If there's anyone that's really handy with AI.
I would love to snowboard in Mordor.
Or Rivendell.
**** yeah!
Did anyone film that?
Because this is the only thing I might be doing.
Me and Jesse Paul hit a rail butt naked.
At like four in the morning in Michigan.
And we both put socks over our things.
We were on some type of a photo shoot for like a brand.
Which I think an outerwear brand actually.
And I don't know it was just really late at night.
We've been hitting the rail for a while.
And somebody was like we should just like hit this naked.
Like no one's around.
And so yeah we all just like stripped down.
I did a nose press.
And like the way you can see like on this.
And like Jendi's over here shooting it.
And like everything just like perfectly covers it up.
You can't even see my sock.
Like my leg covers it up too.
It's just dope.
I'll find the photo at some point.
I'll send it to you guys.
I was at the drop and rip.
And everybody was there.
And we were all like strapping in.
And talking.
And then my sock just like fell off in front of everyone.
Who's got most butterflies right now?
My storage is full.
I feel like I'm in a waterfall.
It's f***ing intense dude.
Super f***ing intense.
You know all the riders keep coming up.
And you're not sure like which one they're gonna do.
But you kind of decide it.
Like you can see like around let's say five meters from the jump.
You can see which one they're gonna choose from there.
But I mean it's intense.
But yeah it kind of sucks.
I want to kind of be like there.
I want to be here.
I mean there's another film there.
But I want to be there also you know.
Because like the action is so f***ing sick.
That one was sick.
What are you hearing in your headset right now?
Nothing.
It's just like a f***ing backup.
Like if something kind of happens.
They need me somewhere.
They will like you know.
But yeah there's not much going on.
But I guess it looks like a little bit G you know.
Like agent.
Agent I would say.
That was super sick.
This is so nice.
It's all sunny.
No I have never done anything like this before.
It's my first time.
I feel like I'm killing it though.
My official title for Red Bull Heavy Metal Helsinki is Mike3.
And I don't know how to speak Finnish.
So it's not easy.
Not easy.
I would love to go to the sauna.
Hey what's your name?
My name is Knut.
Nice to meet you.
How long have you been in the sauna for?
You're just standing outside the sauna.
We got Dylan Hendrickson chilling in here after he won.
Taking a little break in the sauna with the homies.
Sick.
Pretty random.
Not everyday you're talking to people in bikinis.
At a real jam.
This is sick though.
This is crazy.
Alright Joe.
For the people!
No!
We need him to crab walk in the sauna.
Yo!
Godzilla.
Oh!
Let's go egg.
Alright duster buster.
Let's go boinkus.
Yo!
He did them all day at Toma yesterday.
So he's like dialing.
Let's go boinkus.
No!
What the ****?
I wish we filmed that.
LJ.
Oh my god!
How is he landing that?
It's the young knees.
He'll see in like 8 years.
Gian smooth operator.
Yo.
That just looks so nice.
Come on Toma.
Come on girl.
Yes!
Yeah.
She's so sick.
Oh my god.
I'm so happy I'm alive.
Respectfully.
On the phone with my dad.
I just got the dub.
Thank you.
What?
Hey.
Yeah.
Another one for your man cave.
I'm gonna just vibe on the ledge.
Pat poured water on it.
Really?
Yeah.
And Kirill was back twoing on it.
Looked chill.
Back two?
Yeah.
But not back one.
No.
Or he did back one and then he did back two.
He landed it?
No.
He's beast.
Dude the quarter pipe is the sketchiest thing.
After the rail.
I'm super tired.
But happy.
We were stressed but now we're super happy.
It worked really good.
The kicker and the mega rail was epic.
One more shape and then I'm...
Yeah.
I was saying Mila is an absolute animal.
How are you feeling after that slam?
A little shaken up but not too bad.
And LJ.
Backflipper Pretzel.
What?
I convinced people that I'm Shawn White.
But then I got up in the tower and they ******* kicked me out.
Where's the problem dude?
This whole day was insane.
I mean like five hours on the microphone just screaming like my voice is done.
But what we just witnessed today was unreal.
What I pictured in my head this setup would look like and what people could be doing.
It was like 100% more what I expected.
This was out of this world.
I'm ready for a cup of beers.
