Meatball was born with a condition called cerebral hypoplasia, which means the part of his brain that controls movement and coordination is underdeveloped. Tony, Meatball’s trusty human sidekick, realized Meatball would need a little extra TLC when he first met him, but quickly fell in love. To help Meatball overcome his disability, Tony did physical therapy exercises with him and took him to an acupuncturist twice a week. With this added love and attention, Meatball went from barely walking to running like a pro.

The most beautiful thing about Meatball is that despite his disability, he has always been the happiest pup, full of life and admiration for the world around him.
