Summer Diary | Slicing watermelon on the veranda, a quiet afternoon spent with the cat.

The sound of a knife slicing into a wooden cutting board.
The unhurried moments spent cutting into a deeply ripe, crimson watermelon.
Green fields stretch out beyond the window, and a summer breeze blows gently.

With my cat watching close by,
we shared a sweet moment of this summer together.

There was nothing extraordinary about it,
yet it is precisely these simple, quiet times that we cherish looking back on.

Today, too, I’ve recorded this small summer day spent with my cat
in my diary. 🌿🍉
