This piece has a long story behind it.

I only had the opportunity to hear John Williams perform once, which was in Toronto in the late '90s, but I remember it very clearly. Seeing such a legendary figure walk onstage and command the instrument with such ease was almost otherworldly.

One piece that particularly stood out was his solo arrangement of Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major, Op. 3, No. 9, RV 230 — which, of course, he played perfectly. That performance later inspired me to make my own arrangement of another Vivaldi concerto, this time for guitar duo
