Drier air signals potential end to Arizona monsoon

Arizona is currently experiencing dry conditions with plenty of sunshine, particularly in the valley. A shift in weather patterns is moving the state away from the monsoon season and toward fall/winter patterns as dry air filters in from the west. While some areas remain below average for rainfall this season, others like Prescott and Globe have seen above-average precipitation.
