Iconic Speelman Returning To Bonhams Hong Kong This October

Bonhams Hong Kong will present Iconic Speelman this October 2026, a dedicated sale featuring more than 40 lots from the collection of Jules Speelman, one of the world’s most respected dealers and collectors of Asian art.

Following three landmark sales in Paris in 2024 and Hong Kong in 2025, the auction marks Bonhams’ fourth collaboration with Speelman and offers a broader view of his celebrated Chinese works of art collection, shaped by a lifetime of connoisseurship.

Beyond Jules Speelman’s fascination with Buddhist bronzes, the sale reveals the breadth of his collection through an outstanding selection of imperial cloisonné, lacquer and other Chinese works of art, reflecting the iconic aesthetic and discerning eye of the third-generation connoisseur.
