Star Josh Hartnett in N.L. to talk about limited series, Below

We're here at a special screening of Below, a new Netflix series shot on location here in Newfoundland. It's the warmest reception I've ever had in any place I've ever been in my life. People here are so open and hospitable in a way that felt completely natural and not just for me. The iceberg is not your friend getting back. Too dangerous to go anywhere near. There's something wrong with that ice. I really, really wanted the accents to sound authentic and to feel real, and not just in terms of like vowel sounds or words, but the vibe of the people. To be able to tell a story that takes place in Newfoundland, about Newfoundlanders, it's a Newfoundland story through and through, so many iconic, you know, cultural references in the show, and I'm really excited to bring it home and show it to a Newfoundland audience. Below is streaming on Netflix on October 8th. John Harris, CBC News, St. John's.
