Brother, sister dead after murder-suicide at home

Authorities say a man fatally shot his sister outside a Pennsauken, New Jersey, home Wednesday morning before taking his own life, prompting an approximately 90-minute barricade situation as law enforcement secured the scene.

Police responded around 9 a.m. to the 4400 block of Bethel Avenue for a report of a shooting and a man armed with a handgun at the residence. When officers arrived, they found a victim on the front steps of the home.
