Dave Portnoy Goes to Bat for Robert Kraft Amid Macklemore Controversy

All right, I gotta weigh in real quick on this Bob Kraft, Ed Sheeran, McLemore controversy that is raging. Essentially, Ed Sheeran is going on a worldwide tour. He's scheduled to perform at Gillette. McLemore is the opener. Bob Kraft owns Gillette Stadium. Couple tour stops before Bob Kraft catches wind that McLemore is the opener is essentially turning this into a political rally, a pro-free Palestine rally. He has the Palestinian flag. He has brutal imagery from the war on the big screens behind him, singing his song. And Bob Kraft, I'm sure, did what I did when I saw this. He researched McLemore. It didn't take long to learn McLemore has a pretty shady past. He already, at a prior concert, dressed in wildly anti-Semitic. This is before the October 7th attacks, wildly anti-Semitic-like trope, like the huge nose. It's like the greedy Jew meme. And he did a Hitler symbol. He had to apologize for it. He's like, oh, sorry about that. But still, it's like, huh, maybe this free Palestine thing he's doing is a little more deep-seated hatred than what he's making it seem like. He's also a 9-11 truther, like he was yucking up with Hassan Piker. He's kind of insinuated George Bush was responsible for the towers going down. Not great. He also blamed or called what was going on in Gaza a genocide 12 days after the attacks. 12 days after Israel responded, he was already saying it was a genocide. Now, keep in mind, he's not mentioning the 2,000 innocent Jews who got murdered, raped, slaughtered when Hamas invaded Israel. And by the way, just to put that population-wise, I don't think people get the gravity of it. In the United States, population to population, Israel to the United States, if that happened, that's the equivalent, the amount of population like 11 9-11s happening at once. That's how big of a deal that attack is in Israel. And 12 days after you respond, this guy, who has a history of being anti-Semitic, a 9-11 truther, is already blaming Israel for it. So Bob Kraft, and if you don't know, Bob Kraft has spent the last 10 years of his life aggressively fighting anti-Semitism and hate. I've been to Gillette. They have an anti-Semitism like war room where they track all the hatred that's going on in the country. He's spent millions. You'll see a Super Bowl, the little Super Bowl ads, a little blue square fighting hatred. That's who Bob Kraft is. And he owns Gillette Stadium. And Macklemore, this anti-Semitic 9-11 truther who's now turning this into a political rally, you're going to come into Bob Kraft's house and spit in his face? No way.
