Today I explore this Russian cathedral in the middle of Nice before heading back to Monaco again.
Good morning guys so I'm starting the day quite late today. I don't know why but I woke up quite
late today at 9am. Normally I wake up far earlier than that but I mean I've seen almost everything
yesterday but I'll try to do it again today just to sort of absorb it a bit more. I'm heading now
to a bakery called Princess Bakery. Apparently it's a nice one so I'll get some food from there.
Have some breakfast and then start my trip, start the trip by a tourist sort of exploration of Nice
and probably I'll go again to Monaco today but not by car, by train instead just to sort of walk
around it. But yeah I think what I will also, yesterday I saw something that looks completely
random. It looked very very different to the style of like Nice city and so I'll show you that random
thing in a bit as well today. So yeah stay tuned. This is Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Nice. It was
built in 1912 by Tsar Nicholas II. It's the biggest Russian Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe
and it was designed in the traditional style to serve the Russian community living on the coast.
So I'm heading now to the train station to get the train to Monaco which is about half an hour
journey. I thought this would be better than taking my car today because
parking in Monaco is a nightmare so it'd be easier to just take the train. So yeah I'm nearly there.
Just made it back to the station with five minutes to spare. I think this is the last
train that goes to Nice otherwise I would have had to stay in Monaco which I can't afford. So yeah.
