Hi and welcome to another video! In this video I’m taking you along for a few days alone at our summer house in the Swedish countryside and the simple living. I also explain the concept of Swedish and Nordic summer houses because I get asked about that quite a lot. A sommarstuga, which I translate to summer house, is a Swedish term for a holiday home intended for relaxation and recreation during the summer months. It’s rooted in Nordic culture and it’s all about simplicity, close connection to nature, and freedom from the demands of everyday life. It’s typically situated in the countryside, along the coast, in the archipelago, by a lake, or in wooded areas.
