So I've been getting this question a lot this week and
that is can Taylor Swift make it from her concert in Tokyo,
Japan at the Tokyo Dome to Allegiant Stadium on Sunday to
see Travis Kelce and the Chiefs play the 49ers in the Super
Bowl and I'm going to tell you folks.
Yes, she totally can not a problem because one of the
biggest thing you got to realize is the time difference
between Las Vegas and Tokyo is 17 hours in her advantage.
So what you have to realize is that 11 p.m.
Finish time for her concert in Japan on Saturday night is
actually 6 a.m.
On Saturday in Las Vegas, so it will be like taking a morning
flight, you know from the US if you're thinking of the time
period, but if you look at it, it takes about an hour for
her or well, I don't know which Airport she's going from
but the airports I went from it's about an hour drive.
Okay out from the Tokyo Dome to the airport.
You figure she's going to have her flight kind of set up
with her own plane.
They'll be ready to go.
She's walks right on and goes.
Yes, I'm sure there's some, you know, password control things
you probably have to deal with but in general power to get
out there the flight.
Well, the flight a direct flight from Tokyo to Las Vegas is
about 12 and a half hours.
Okay, so you figure you have 12 and a half hour flight then
for those you don't know a Harry Reid Airport the Bain Las
Vegas Airport.
It's like 15 minutes if she doesn't get the wrong taxi,
let's say I'm going to guess she won't when she's flying
in but it's only about 15 minutes to Allegiant Stadium
from the airport.
So overall just realize she would get in at 12 45 p.m.
On Sunday Tokyo time.
However, that is 7 45 p.m.
On Saturday night in Las Vegas.
So if she went directly from her concert and flew out she'd
make it and have plenty of time to get a beauty rest.
She doesn't need it.
She's already beautiful, but she had plenty of time for a
nice good tonight's rest in Las Vegas to enjoy the Super Bowl.
So she can do it.
No problem.
Now, what about you and me that don't have our private
plane? Could we go see her on February 10th and then get
back in time for the Super Bowl in case she's there in the
box seats.
Well, that's a whole other story.
Now our biggest issue as being normal people that don't
have her own private planes is the fact that there's no
flights going out at midnight from Tokyo to Las Vegas or
to the US you have to wait until the next day.
So you're already losing a bunch of time because those
flights tend to leave in the afternoon early evening.
So that's one of our issues.
So we already lost a bunch of flights because remember we
have to get in by 3 30 p.m.
Las Vegas time.
That's 3 30 Pacific Time.
That's when the game starts.
We don't want to see the very end.
We want to be there from the beginning.
Okay.
So what are our options?
Okay.
So what I did is I went to kayak.com and I searched flights
from Tokyo to Las Vegas and I went on Sunday because I'm
sadly there's no flights in the evening like 11 p.m.
The earliest you can get to the airport would be midnight.
There's no flights the US app like in the morning or that
early in the morning.
So you got to wait till the next day and most flights leave
in the afternoon early evening from Tokyo to the US.
Okay, because remember it's a 12 and a half hour flight.
All right, so you got a ways to go.
Now the issue is there were no direct flights from Tokyo
to Las Vegas.
So you did get to find some flights but you went through
either LAX or SFO.
So Los Angeles or San Francisco and you would connect there
and there were actually flights that got you in at 12 30 1
30 to 15 which would give you that 15 minutes to get to
the stadium and the airlines that did have stuff Delta United
and Japan Airlines all had flights that could get you there.
So if you want to be there for the Ares concert in Tokyo
on Saturday night, they finished at 11.
You can go and party the rest of the night and get your flight
the next day on Sunday because the time difference you actually
get back in time for that flight because remember the actual
time of the Super Bowl in Japan is 8 30 a.m.
On Monday.
So yeah, you got plenty of time.
So Swifties have a great time at the concert and enjoy the
Super Bowl as well.
