Why does everyone fall in love with Cape Town? 🇿🇦 In this vlog, we leave the city behind and explore the stunning Cape Peninsula to discover why Cape Town is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Our day starts at Maiden’s Cove, where we discover one of Cape Town’s most beautiful coastal views and enjoy a coffee with an incredible view. From there, we drive through Hout Bay, stop for coffee at Sentinel Cafe, and take one of the most scenic roads in South Africa: Chapman’s Peak Drive.
We continue towards Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach, where we finally get to see the famous African penguins 🐧 before discovering one of our favorite hidden gems of the day, Barefoot Cafe, a beautiful spot surrounded by nature serving fresh, organic and delicious food.
The adventure continues through Table Mountain National Park as we visit the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, before ending our day with a relaxed walk around Kalk Bay.
Throughout the vlog, I also share, as usually, practical travel information including Google Maps locations, prices in ZAR, USD, EUR and RON, parking information, road fees, restaurant prices, tips and tricks, and our honest opinions about the places we visit in South Africa.
