Once upon a time a skunk visited my backyard and decided to make himself at home under the house. I tried many (non-harmful) ways to persuade him to leave. It was quite an adventure. Years later I decided to write a children's book about it. It was a lot of fun trying to come up with rhyming verses and make the sissor-cut illustrations.
