Did Abolitionists Help Turn Black Americans Into FOREIGNERS?

What if the images that shaped our understanding of the slave trade don’t match the records behind them? In this video, I examine the famous Brookes diagram, abolitionist propaganda, ship logistics, historical records, and the theory that Black Americans were gradually rewritten as immigrants and foreigners rather than people already here.

I'll go deep into the paper trail, examining the Georgetown Mary logbook, census classifications, records showing Native and Indigenous Americans being recorded under Black, Negro, Mulatto and Colored categories, along with the population numbers behind the 4.4 million Black Americans counted by 1860.

Then I ask the bigger question: were historical classifications and later narratives used to separate Black Americans from an Indigenous identity and rewrite them as an immigrant population?
