How To Look Expensive On A Budget | Affordable Petite Outfit Ideas *Everything Less Than $100*

For today's video, we are doing an affordable fall lookbook. I've gotten so many requests to do a fall lookbook with a lower price point. If you guys are familiar with my channel, I put out a fall lookbook every year that has quite a wide variety of price points. But for today's video, we're going to be keeping everything under $100. I'm 5'2", just for reference. We're gonna go ahead and jump on in. Starting off with this first look, I've got on a pair of tailored pants from Quince. These are $70 and they're a little bit of a higher price point for a tailored pant when comparing them to like a pair of pants from Target or from Walmart. But for me being so petite, it is hard for me to find really, really good pants at Target and Walmart, if I'm being honest. Either they don't have my size in stock or they don't have a good inseam length for me. So I got these from Quince. I think they're such a nice pair of pants for $70. I love that they come in multiple inseam lengths. I'm wearing the 28-inch inseam. They're the perfect length to wear with a heeled boot or with a flat. So I love the versatility of these pants. I also love that they come in a bunch of different colors. I've got on this beautiful dark rose color and it is so stunning for the fall. But if you don't have a pair of black tailored pants, I would definitely recommend grabbing these in black. You can wear them year-round. They're so versatile and these are just a really, really nice pair. For my top, I've got on this gorgeous sweater from Target. This is $40 and I think that this is such a stunning piece. It's a full cable knit sweater and I absolutely love the color. It's in chocolate brown, which I think looks so good with these pants. I did actually size up in this to a large and I love the way that it fits. I'll include the sizes that I have in each piece down below in the description box and also in the blog post if that's helpful for you. But I went ahead and I cuffed the sleeves and I really love the look of that. It kind of reminds me of my favorite Abercrombie sweater. This one is so, so cozy though. It's so soft. It's not itchy at all. I love how you can still see my white t-shirt poking through it and it's actually a really good length to wear. You can wear it untucked or you can do a front tuck with it. But it comes in a few different colors. I obviously had to get the chocolate brown. I think this color combo is so gorgeous. For my shoes, I have on a brown loafer, which are also from Target. I got these at the beginning of the season and I still love them. They're so comfortable. They're a great price point and I think a loafer is very on trend for this season. Definitely would recommend these. And then for my bag, I've got on this bucket bag from Target. It has rose gold hardware on it. But I love how it has two different textures in the bag. So you have faux leather and the faux suede and I think it makes the bag really unique. For this video, I specifically tried to find pieces that look really high-end but at a really good price. So I think this bag looks so nice and I love how it looks with this outfit. A lot of really good deep chocolate brown tones. For my next outfit, I've got on a pair of pants from Quince again. These are a corduroy pant. They come in so many different colors. I got them in this really beautiful chocolate brown and I think these are so gorgeous. I have them in the 28 inch inseam. I would recommend sizing down on them if you can because they do have a lot of stretch. They are more of a straight leg and I think they are so flattering on. And if you watched my capsule wardrobe video, you know that I think corduroy is a closet must-have for the fall and winter. For my top, I've got on another sweater from Target. This one is $40 and I think this is such a unique piece. I can't believe this is Target. Honestly, it feels like something you would get at J.Crew or Anthropologie. It is so, so gorgeous. I love the striped pattern in it and then also it has this really thick ribbing along the sleeves. This turtleneck is so powerful. It is a full turtleneck but it's not itchy. It's got buttons that go down the left shoulder. I think it is absolutely stunning and for $40, this is such a nice piece. I really love the thick trim along the sleeves and the base of the sweater so I decided to not tuck it in. For my shoes, I've got on a knit boot from Quince. These ones are so comfortable because they're knit. You don't have to break them in and they're a really good heeled boot. And then for my jacket, you guys, I cannot believe that this jacket is from Target. It honestly looks like it could be from Anthropologie. It is so gorgeous. It's $45 which is insane because the design of it is actually so well made. I love this panel that goes along the front and back of the jacket. It just gives so much good shape and volume to the piece. I think this looks so high-end, you guys. I am genuinely so surprised I found this at Target. I love the way that it belts around the waist. It's a really great length to wear over sweaters that you decide to not tuck in. And one thing that I think is so amazing about this jacket is that the back of it actually has a button so that the tie does not move throughout the jacket and also doesn't get tangled around the jacket. But I think that is such a good little detail that honestly a lot of higher-end pieces don't have. So I think they really thought through everything when it comes to this jacket. And this is honestly a great piece whether it's from Target or whether it's from Anthropologie. It is just a very, very nice fitting piece. And then for my bag, I picked up this gorgeous oversized shoulder bag from Target. And I think this looks so nice. I really tried to be selective when it came to accessories of what pieces I thought actually looked really good in person. And this one, I would give a 10 out of 10. I love the shape. I love the size of it as well. It holds a ton. And I think it makes every outfit look so chic. For my next outfit, I've got on these jeans from Quince. I absolutely love these. These are $50 and Quince has some incredible jeans for an amazing price. I think these fit so well. These are more of a kick flare style. So they kind of are fitted around the thighs and then they kind of flare out a little bit along the shins. I think they're such a flattering style. I get them in the 28 inch inseam, which makes my legs look so long, especially when I pair them with some kind of heel. They're so, so comfy though. Very stretchy. These fit true to size and I just absolutely love this pair of jeans. For my top, I've got on a sweater from Zara. I think this color is so pretty for the fall. I love a good mustard yellow. And this one has some really great detail. I love the white piping along the sleeve and the neck. I think it is such a beautiful detail. The sleeves also have a little bit of a split in them. It is a shorter length sweater, so you could either front tuck it like I have it or you could wear it untucked. But I think this sweater just screams fall. I absolutely love this color. And then layered over the sweater, I've got on this gorgeous puffer vest from Target. You guys, this seriously looks like a piece that you'd find at a Ritzia or Madewell. It is so nice. I love the fit. It has this really great high neckline. I think it is the perfect lightweight vest to throw over any sweater without making it too warm. It's such a good layering piece. It has pockets and the color is perfection. It's almost like this chocolate brown mixed with burgundy. It is so stunning. And I think it looks so good layered over this mustard yellow sweater. These two colors work so well together. And then I just threw on the same Target bag with my quince heeled boots. For my next outfit, I've got on this incredible dress from Walmart. I love this dress, you guys. It is so beautiful. I love the color and the pattern. It has ties along the front and then also has really great ruffles along the base and on the sleeves. I think it's a really great length. This would be such a great dress for family photos. If you live somewhere where it is a little bit warmer still, you could even throw a nice belt on with it and kind of cinch it at the waist. I think that would be so beautiful. For my shoes, I've got on these knee-high boots from Walmart. These are so good, you guys. Like, such a good find. I got them in the burgundy color, but they also do come in black, which the black ones are on sale. But these are so comfortable. I wore them walking around all morning at the pumpkin patch and I absolutely love these. They actually got so muddy during that day, but I just wiped them down with a wet paper towel and they're basically like new. They have memory foam in them, so they're so comfortable to walk in and they're not too high of a knee-high where you can't bend your knee. So if you are more on the petite side, these are a really good height of boot. They do have a block heel, but the heel isn't too high to wear. I would feel uncomfortable during the day wearing them. So I think you could wear these pretty much all day. They're so comfy and I love the look of a knee-high boot and the fact that these are burgundy is just perfect for fall. For my next outfit, I've got on a pair of darker wash barrel jeans. These are actually a pair of Levi's that are sold at Target. They're $70. They have this adjustable cinch waist where you can basically bring the jeans in at the waist more if you want them to be a little bit more snug. I love that these jeans have that. I'm honestly like, why do all jeans not have an adjustable waist? These are so cool, you guys. If you have been wanting to try a style of barrel jeans, I really couldn't recommend these more. They are a longer inseam, but I rolled them at the bottom and I think they look so cool. The barrel jean is definitely a trend this fall, but I honestly love them and if you find a pair that fits really well in the waist, I think that is the key. I also love that these are a darker blue wash denim. I talked about this in my fall trends video, but I think a dark blue pair of jeans is a must for fall. I found this red sweater at Target, you guys. It honestly reminds me of one of my American Vintage pieces or an Aritzia sweater. It is so soft and cozy, you guys. It has really beautiful cable knit along the base and sleeves. I love that it's a wider v-neck style as well because you can wear it over a white t-shirt, which is one of my favorite ways to wear sweaters right now. I love this shade of red. It is really hard to find the right shade of red and when I saw this in the store, I immediately had to get it. I love a good pop of color for the fall. Again, I talked about this trend in my fall trends video, but I think this shade of red is perfection. For my shoes, I've got on the same Target loafers with a sock. I love the look of loafers with socks right now, especially when you can see the socks showing. And so with the barrel jeans rolled at the bottom, I think this is just such a cool girl look. And then for my jacket, I have got on the viral Zara faux suede jacket. This is honestly right on the edge of the price point. This is $100 pretty much and it is so good, you guys. I have been waiting for this jacket to restock online. Had no luck. I went into my Zara store and they actually had it in both colors. I got it in the brown, obviously, and it is so perfect. I love the way that it fits. I love the length. It is such a great style of jacket. It is a little bit oversized, so it fits over sweaters so easily. I think the faux suede actually looks so nice. For $100, it obviously is a little bit pricier than the other items, but I think it is worth it. It is such a cool jacket. I cannot believe I actually found it in the store. If you can't find it in store, sign up for the notifications for it to be restocked. It is worth it. I could not recommend this piece more. For my next look, I've got on another pair of quince denim. These are $50 as well. I love these. These are a 26-inch inseam, so they're a little bit more of a crop length. I love wearing these with any sort of flat, like a sneaker, a loafer, a slip-on shoe. They are so flattering. They're a little bit more of a straight-to-wide-leg style. They are high-waisted. They run true to size. I love the way that they fit in the hips, in the booty, in the waist. So comfortable. So flattering. For my top, I've got on this really great blouse from Target. I love this color. It's a beautiful, deep burgundy without being too saturated. I feel like sometimes burgundy can look too purple or too red or too vibrant, and this is seriously the perfect shade of burgundy. It has these really great billowy sleeves and also buttons that go down the front of the top. I also love that you can tuck it in all the way around into high-waisted bottoms. Such a beautiful piece. For my shoes, I've got on these clogs from Quince. I absolutely love these. These are so comfortable. They're basically like a Birkenstock, but much cheaper. They come in a bunch of different colors, but I really love this coffee color, and they look so good with socks. I think they are just a great throw-on shoe. And then for my bag, I've got on the same black Target bag. I love that this honestly just kind of goes with everything. Again, one of my favorite finds from Target. For my next look, I've got on this gorgeous chocolate brown dress from Walmart. This is a cotton dress. I love the way that it fits. It has this really great tie around the waist so you can bring it in, and it has buttons that go down the front of the dress. This is the perfect chocolate brown, you guys. Even though it is short sleeve, the color is still very much fall appropriate. So if you live somewhere where it's not quite cold yet, this would be such a good family photos dress. I love the puffy sleeves and the length on me. I'm 5'2", and I think it is the perfect midi style. For my shoes, I've got on some heels from Quince. These are just a really simple black strappy leather heel. And then I threw on a Quince sweater just over my shoulders. You can do this with any sort of cream cardigan or cream crew neck. Anything beige, cream, white. You can just drape over your shoulders with a dress like this, and it makes it feel a little bit more fall appropriate. For my next look, I've got on another pair of Levi's from Target. These are a wide leg style. Very high-waisted. Fit true to size. I will say these have, I think it's a 32 inch inseam. So if you are on the shorter side, you'll want to wear them with some kind of heel or heeled boot. I've got on a pretty tall heeled boot right now, and I feel like they just make my legs look so long. So I love this style of jean when I'm wearing some kind of heel to elongate the legs. But I just wanted to note, if you are petite, that they do run very, very long. I think they look so good though. They fit so well in the booty, in the waist, hips. And then they have this really great dramatic wide leg. They are a darker blue wash denim, which I absolutely love. Tucked into my jeans, I've got on this really great top from Quince. This is a cashmere tee. I love this top. I honestly wish I had gotten it in a couple more colors for kind of earlier fall. But definitely next year, I'm gonna restock on a couple of these. Because I love this top. It is such a cozy piece to wear if you live somewhere where it's not super cold yet. It gives that sweater feeling, but it is a short sleeve and it's cashmere. So it's super, super soft. I love this chocolate brown. And then for my jacket, I found this faux leather jacket from Target. I think the shape of this jacket is so unique. It honestly kind of reminds me of the Zara jacket. I think this one was $45. Such a good fit. Has these really big balloon sleeves that just add a lot of volume to the jacket. Also has that same kind of gathering along the bottom like the Zara jacket. So love the silhouette. Love the crop length as well because I am a little bit more petite. I feel like this style of jacket where it's cropped makes my legs look so long in these jeans. And then I love that this jacket has a zipper. So you can wear it over button-down cardigans or button-down tops. You don't have too many buttons going on. So really great unique jacket. I thought it was so unique for Target. I'm honestly so shocked by this jacket and the other trench style jacket that I found. Target is on something right now. And then for my bag, I threw on the brown bucket bag again to kind of match the brown in the sweater. I love this look. This jacket with these jeans is so good. Next up is this top from Zara. And I've got on the same denim. But I really wanted to show you guys this top because I have been obsessed with collars lately. Any shirt that has an exaggerated collar on it, I think is just so gorgeous and elegant. This one is from Zara and I absolutely love the color. It's got so much beautiful lace detail. And I think it is just a stunning statement piece and a really beautiful option. If you want to wear something that's long sleeve but isn't a sweater, I think this is so pretty. And I just had to share this top with you guys. It's one of my favorite pieces that I've gotten from Zara. It has a tie around the neck and then buttons that go all the way down the front. It is a little bit of a shorter top so I just have it front tucked into these jeans. I think this color looks so good with the dark blue denim. And then for my bag, I've got on this gorgeous crossbody which is from Target. I honestly thought this one looked so nice in the store. It has the most beautiful contrast stitching and a really similar design to the Pollen bag which I absolutely adore. But obviously this one is from Target so it's not real leather. It's not quite as nice as Pollen, obviously. But I think it looks so nice. And I love the shape. The size of it's really great. It has an adjustable shoulder strap so you can wear it as a crossbody and shorten it pretty much almost up to like a shoulder bag. But I think this warm brown looks so good with this colored top as well. But those are all of the looks for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
