The city of Westfield honoring the
innocent lives taken on September 11th,
2001. 22 News reporter Lexi White
attended the ceremony. Lexi joins us
live now in studio. CR three people
from Westfield were killed during the
terrorist attacks in New York City 25
years ago, and the Westfield community
is making sure their legacies live on.
People do not forget. Um, and we
shouldn't forget. 25 years ago today,
the city of Westfield lost three of
their own during the terrorist attacks
in New York City. Tar Shea,
Creamer, Dan Trant and Brian Murphy.
Now the community is coming together
remembering the lives lost on
September 11th, 2001. That's just
the understanding of humanity and
understanding that we are resilient
and that we can come together as a
community to support. Kindness goes a
long way. Tar Shea Creamer aboard
American Airlines Flight 11, the
first plane that crashed into the
North Tower of the World Trade
Center. Brian Murphy and Dan Trant
working in the World Trade Center
during the attack. I had a chance to
sit down with Dan Trans sister who
says Dan's legacy will forever live
on. Danny was a very loving and
caring person, always looking out for
other people. He is sorely missed by
everyone who knows him and people
still reach out that knew him. Each
of the victims sharing a quality
their Irish heritage. The Sons of
Aaron, a local Irish nonprofit
building a memorial in honor of
them. That site holding a place in
their loved ones hearts. There were
never any remains to my knowledge
found of Danny and there there is
not a grave. So the Sons of Aaron
memorial is particularly special to
my family. The Sons of Aaron is
providing more than just a memorial
for grieving families, but giving
them an outlet and making sure they
feel heard, bringing politicians,
first responders and other members
of the community together, ensuring
the memories of Tara, Brian and Dan
remain a significant part of the
city's history. Westfield held a
series of events today honoring the
victims of this tragedy from those
needing to be rescued to those doing
the rescuing working for you. Lexi
