Adventure, friendship, and memory collide in Forgotten Island (2026) — an animated fantasy adventure from DreamWorks Animation inspired by Philippine mythology.

The film follows lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, who suddenly find themselves transported to the mysterious and magical world of Nakali, a forgotten island filled with mythical creatures and strange new environments. As they search for a way home, they discover that staying on the island causes their memories to slowly fade. Their only chance of escape may come at the cost of everything they remember about their friendship and their lives.

Directed by Joel Crawford (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) and Januel Mercado, the film blends comedy, fantasy adventure, and coming-of-age storytelling, making it one of DreamWorks Animation’s major releases of 2026. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on September 25, 2026, distributed by Universal Pictures.
