See 9/11 remembrance ceremony in Modesto

The fire service lost 343 members. There were 23 New York PD members lost, 37 Port Authority police officers lost, 184 military members lost in the Pentagon, and 2,753 personnel, civilian personnel, who lost their lives 25 years ago. These are brothers, sisters, friends, and public servants who rushed into danger rather than turning away. Although our brothers and sisters were lost that fateful day 25 years ago, they will never be forgotten. Today we stand united, strong, and resolute. Please join us in the reading of their last alarm. To our comrades, their last alarm, they've gone home.
