I'm over the moon to share my latest property here in Holualoa, Angel's Retreat, with you today. This is a custom home that these owners have transformed into a magical retreat for themselves, their friends and family. What you'll find is a custom home like no other in Holualoa. On almost three and a half acres, this single level home has all the details and absolutely everything you could dream of. We're here at the top of the property, just inside your front gate. This is your panoramic view. 3.43 acres, beautiful palms in a park-like setting. I can't wait for you to take a look. There's so many magical places on this property. This is a little sitting area, just off to your front entry, a little meditative garden where you can take in the morning and just enjoy. These royal palms behind me, the monkey pod trees throughout the property, fresh fruit, ornamentals and more will take your breath away. And now you're at your circular driveway just in front of the home. You have your beautiful tree with landscaping, three-car garage with a working shop, an area just below that. You come down a few stairs and you're at home. We're gonna head in and wait till you see what's behind you. You take a couple of steps inside the home, you're wowed right as you enter and like the tractor beam that it is, you're pulled out to the ocean view. This pool is one of my absolute favorites. Look at this. You have a lot of kidney bean shaped pools, you have a lot of dipping pools. This my friends is a swimming pool fit for this property. Look at this unbelievable ocean view, ultra private, wide enough with two swimming lanes there. Oh my, if I didn't have a lot of work to do today, I would plan to be in that pool. In case you're wondering again exactly where we are, we're here on Hawaii Island on the big island in magical Holualoa, an elevation of just about 1100 feet in this outdoor lanai with indoor outdoor living space. I'm gonna put my glasses on because the sun's coming out. We've talked about the pool briefly. We'll be talking more about that a little bit later. We have our putting green just off of your outside dining lanai. You're on 3.43 acres. This space really is a retreat. The owners have named this exactly that, Angel's Retreat for its magical rejuvenating properties. You have the beautiful ocean view, you have the sunshine, the pool. They let their friends, family, and guests who volunteer with Shriners, the City of Hope, come stay here and revitalize and recharge themselves. It's such a lovely space and I'm just glad to share it with you. It's early morning so you can see the sun coming up over Hualalai Mountain behind us. It's cruise ship Wednesday so you can see the cruise there in the bay. I'm gonna walk to the corner of this pool to show you your boundaries and just how special this place is. You have rock walls on the south boundary there. You have an entry gate at the lower. So let's just say you're like me. You enjoy agriculture. You enjoy working in the yard. You need a little more room to get around. There's a separate gate down there for your Tacoma, for your side-by-side, to get out there, do some of the fun activities. Mango trees, pineapple, we're gonna take a look at some of those later. But you actually have access around your property. You're not wheelbarrowing something and falling over and we've all done it, right? Anyway, this row of trees just below us, that's about the property line. There's a rainbow eucalyptus just on that, what would that be, the northwest corner. That's that taller tree there. But this is your view. This monkey pod tree, that canopy's been lifted so you get unbelievable west-facing ocean view. You have your lanai right off of the home. That's basically your outdoor dining area. You have your pool dining area and an extra barbecue spot on the back. 4,500 square feet, three bedrooms with an additional pool house, home office, and entertainment room. This house has it all. I just gave you a quick tour of the pool area, which believe me we're gonna get back to because there's so much to talk about there. We're a few steps inside the home. I wanted to get started by taking you on the interior tour. We're gonna start here in the entertainment room. Beautiful library space. It has a fireplace. You have kind of a library, private sitting area, entertainment, movies, game night, you name it, that happens here. Beautiful airflow through the home. You'll notice the windows here on the east side, the same thing on the west. We've talked about this in some of my other videos. Airflow is so important. We have wonderful fans, updated lighting. This leads here to the kitchen and pantry. Updated and totally redone laundry room. Just gorgeous. A few steps further, we're in your chef's kitchen with a pantry to absolutely die for. Oversized kitchen, multiple sinks. We have our cutting boards at the ready for the white pineapple you're gonna try a We have your barbecue spot. We have your herb garden right behind me for all those fun things you might be picking and preparing for later this evening or this afternoon. We'll take a wander out here to do some exploring here in a few minutes, but I want to stay inside the home for now. You've seen the kitchen. You've seen the outdoor barbecue area. I told you about the little breakfast seating area which is just behind you. Here's your formal dining room. Again, you'll notice the beautiful windows, the great airflow. Guess what? I'm going to ask you this. Can you see your neighbors? I'll answer that also. You can't. It's so private. I love it. Big, oversized living room, vaulted ceilings. I think I've mentioned this earlier. This is sold turnkey furnished. You can't find things like this here on Hawaii Island these days. Well, let's throw in an asterisk. Highly unlikely. A lot of the furniture stores have come and gone. These are classic pieces. There's hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of furniture and decor in this home. This is sold turnkey. That makes things so much easier for you. We talked about the inside dining. Here is one of the outside dining areas. Your covered exterior lanai, which absolutely blows my mind. I love this. Again, private, covered. You have shades that pull down in the afternoon. So when that sun hits about a four o'clock and the sun's getting a little closer to setting, it can warm up a little bit. It's just nice and cool. This property truly is a one of one. You won't find anything like this in Holualoa or the Kona market. I've been doing this for over 19 years and I can tell you hands down, this custom home is absolutely spectacular. While we're here and for fun, let's take a few putts. See how we do. Starting cold. No pressure on camera. Oh, misses the first one. Here we go. Here's shot number two. Come on, come on, come on, come on. There we go. Money. Oh, I'll take that all day. That's a good start to the day. All right. We've got that putting done to kind of loosen things up a little bit, feel a little better. One important thing, people who have pets, my baby boy, I've got my baby boy and we have the little rascal sister. This exterior is fenced. So if you have pets, dogs, cats, you know, whatever, whatever warms your heart or others, llamas. We have a great little green space back here that gives you just, again, sort of a nice little garden feeling. It's what you want to do. You'll see all the different plants, all the different flowers. We talked about the herb garden. There's just so many lovely things here. I'm going to show you one of my favorite hibiscus flowers. I don't know the names of these or some of them. They have the funniest names. I don't think this is a cosmic dazzler, but look at this. Unbelievable. I might even take a cutting for myself a little later. We're here at the pool house. Maybe the most coveted spot for friends and family. I'm going to show you why. It's self-contained, one bedroom, one bath apartment with a living room. And the best part of it is this lanai. So look at this. Turnkey furnished. You step outside. First of all, it's super private. You're right off of the main home. You can be looking at the cruise ship just like this, drinking your morning coffee, looking at these royal palms, the monkey pod trees, the garden setting. I mean, I could clearly go on and on about this, but it's just fantastic. Previously, this was used as a caretaker's spot, which is perfect. Friends, family, guests, an actual full-time caretaker. This is perfect. Self-contained, you know, one bedroom here, a little wet bar, heading over to the bathroom. It's just a very functional layout that is very cozy and basically fits the bill of exactly what you need. Let's say you're here on island part of the year. You need somebody to take care of the property or some help. This is the perfect spot. Okay, so we've basically done a big circle inside the home. You've seen the kitchen. You've seen the outside lanai. One really fun spot that I want to talk about is your interior sort of wet bar area. There's some great storage. You have your wine coolers here, half bath to my right. So just above the main living room, there's an extra loft area. Kids love this spot. Perfect little extra workstation if you need or storage. We all know people have a lot of holiday decorations. First bedroom of the home. This is where things really start going next level. Bedroom number one. Now this is on the north eastern side of the home. High ceilings, extra loft space just behind you. Bathroom here, nice and private, quick and easy. Beautiful little bedroom. Upstairs, just across the hallway from that, you have, I like to kind of call this the zoo room. Perfect again for grandkids, those younger folks where stairs are no problem or trouble. Light, bright, airy, same thing. Has its own bathroom, extra storage area, and this is just across from the first bedroom of the home. And I think you'll see why I just had a giant smile on my face. This home office is unbelievable. Look at this. Are you kidding me? This is what you're sitting down to at your home office workstation. This is where you're taking your zoom calls, your doctor's appointments, whatever it is. Look at this. Spectacular, screened in lanai, beautiful orange hibiscus flowers. This is just your garden view. Mind-blowing. Main bedroom, the same incredible vista, beautiful garden-like setting, great airflow, super private. This bedroom is on the north side of the home. The sun, as we know, rises over the mountain there on the east, so this bedroom keeps nice and cool. High ceilings, great airflow, leading you into the main, redone main bathroom, top to bottom. This is exceptional. I love these colors. I love the walk-in shower. Very easy entry. The bathtub right behind you. Again, all you see is greenery. All of this is just off of the pool area. As you know, one of the island things is an outside shower. Let's take a look at that. This flooring that you see was hand-painted by the owner. Unbelievable. Look at this. It was done with stencils. We have your shower here. For those of you who've been watching the channel and have been with us for a bit, in my last video you saw me pick that pup off of the pineapple, just like this. So these smaller babies, these are the pups. We can snap those off and replant them. Same thing here. These are a little larger. These pups are smaller. What we have for you today is a ready-to-pick spectacular white pineapple. We're going to try this inside. Oh, snaps off just like that. A lot of people, and we've talked about this also, they question, when do you pick the pineapple? And there's a couple of different markers, a couple of different things. I think I told you, one of my uncles told me you pull one of these tops, and if the leaf comes out easy, that's a thing. I don't know if I buy that. This one, you can see, these are a little bigger. You can actually smell it. Nice ripe pineapple. Let's get inside and cut it open. We're going to just clean this off, get it sliced open. Obviously, first order of business is give it a nice little rinse. There are going to be some ants and all that sort of stuff in here. We give it a good rinse, snap this other top off. This can be a little bit sharpy, sharpy, sharp and pointy. So we give this a little twist. Now, the cool thing is, this is now plantable. You take some of these bottom leaves off, just like this. You can put it in a cup of water. These little nodules there, those are actually the roots of this. So this now becomes your next white pineapple. Plant that outside. You can put it in a little jar of water, and it'll start growing roots, or honestly, you can just get it in the ground. I give this a nice little rinse. We're going to dry it off, and then we're going to get to work. Let's check this out. There we go. Are we a cooking show? Are we a YouTube channel? What are we? Man, are we selling beautiful homes? Are we selling agriculture? We're just going to get right to it. Fingers careful. Oh my goodness. White pineapple, my friends. We'll give it a couple slices here, quick and easy. Everybody has their kind of own way of doing this. This takes a couple of minutes, but believe me, your friends, family, and yourself will be overjoyed when you go outside, pick one of these beauties, and have a little slice. Now we have the spine on the inside, right? So we're going to do a couple more cuts. That goes down there. And this is when you know something is going to be amazing. As I'm making these cuts, I can see some of this white pineapple syrup coming out of the top. Wow. Here we go. Moment of truth. A couple of these eyes we can take off a little more. No big deal. All right, you ready for this? This is live, on camera. Is it for real? Here we go. Here goes nothing. The thing is next level. We do it all here. Cooking show, food prep, real estate, Marco and Kona. Let's do it. Friends, we're about to take a few swings from the built-in chipping green. But before that, I want to show you a couple of fun agriculture things. We have some beautiful tomatoes that are just about ready to be picked. Look at this. Oh my gosh. Beautiful. I love it. Lychee tree behind me. We have apple bananas, which are also just about ready. We can spend a little more time talking about exactly when to pick them. Apple bananas are near and dear to my heart. I would even say probably the best banana. Don't come for me in the comments. They're amazing. These are close. You know, I'm going to tell you about these right now. Actually, I'll use my putter. These babies are almost ready. They're very close. You see how there's still a little bit of an angle to them? You want those to fatten out a little bit. You see how there's that crease still? You want them to plump up just a little bit more. That bunch above it. Here's just a good thing to look at. You see how those are still very angular? You want them fat and plump, almost like little mini missiles. That's a good way to look at it. Also, you'll start to see some of them become a little bit yellow. Obviously, that's the giveaway when it comes to cutting them down. I mean, this could be a whole nother video, but you know, we're talking about the house. We'll come back to that. We're going to head on up to the chipping green. Come along for the ride. Here goes nothing. I'm not going to see it up. Oh, a little bit left. Okay. Not the worst. Not the worst. Let's do a couple more just to see. Come on. I don't need to take up too much of your time doing this, but let's just go for two. Let's see what this one is. Oh, lucky bounce. That wasn't the worst. I've taken a few swings. You can see the home in the background. We're now basically on that south boundary. We're heading down, so we'll make par here or better. Who knows? You'll see these row of palms here on that south boundary. We have your solar heating system for the pool just below the home. That's those panels that you see there. This is a nice big monkey pod tree. There's another mango tree here. We're going to get some really nice mangoes. I think I'm going to punch it up here. Nice and easy. Nice little punch. Nice little punch. Oh, whoa. Okay. Not the worst. Not the worst. With the royal palm background. A little bit long to be putting. I'm not going to give this much hope. Oh, oh, oh. Okay. Well, you saw my putting earlier. All right. Here we go. I'm going to show you that mango tree down here. The owners told me that they just picked a mango. Yeah. And our friends the birds got to it or something. So here we go. Nice mango. I wonder what kind that is. And now we're sort of on that lower western corner of the property. Gigantic area to the north of the property. These are spectacular monkey pod trees just above me. Nice little bench area. Kind of a little picnic seating area. You've taken the tour in the daytime. We're going to have you back at sunset. These torches behind me are going to be lit. It is going to be absolutely amazing. Make sure you see that. You were here for the daytime tour. I'm so glad you came back at sunset. The sun is on the way down. The lighting's perfect. This is what the home looks like in the evening. Really a different feeling. A different vibe. Very mellow. Very elegant. You walk through here. You see these beautiful wood floors. The soaring ceilings as you enter the living room. We've opened up the doors. This home is known for its inside outside living experience. This house has it perfectly. The sun's just about to go down. We have the tiki torches on. Come take a look out here. Just absolutely gorgeous. A couple of things to touch on just to make sure we mention. This home, we have a slate tile roof which is amazing. Arguably indestructible.
