'Hard to beat' - Chelsea's Xabi Alonso on facing Hull City

Let's not talk about those big words, impossibles in football, it's too big a word. We face tomorrow's game with the same respect we did last week against Arsenal. They are seven points, no-goal conceded. They will be hard to beat, they have their weapons as well, with transitions, set-pieces. They have the belief, the coach is doing a great job, so it's going to be hard. We will have to be at our best to beat them tomorrow. That's the goal. This is the focus, this is the work, this is the process. We want to be more competitive, to be as good or even better in attack, because I think that there is room for improvement. And to have the balance, to feel solid as well and to feel strong in defence. We want to not concede that many goals and that's a work of everyone, from the strikers to the goalkeeper. No, not yet, not yet. Let's see for Brentford, but unluckily not the moment to take risks with him. Not yet, we are not there yet. For me, he's a winger. You can call him a winger, wingback, because he has many qualities. He can play on the last line, he can defend on the first line, so he has this capacity to do many things as well. He's good on 1v1, he's scoring goals, he has a fantastic goal rate, he connects very well with the players around. I knew him well from watching many games from Chelsea, but with him you know that he's going to compete and you want this kind of players in your team. I'm very happy with Pedro, the work he's doing.
