Nadim's Mediterranean Grill celebrates 25+ year milestone

Nadim's downtown mediterranean grill in Springfield is celebrating a major milestone being in business for more than 25 years. A special 25 plus one anniversary event this evening marks when the restaurant first opened its doors in 2000 before moving to its current location on main street and 2005 owner and chef Nadim Kashyush was born in Liberia, raised in Lebanon and immigrated to the U. S. 1990 after fleeing civil war. A decade later he purchased what was cafe Lebanon and eventually transformed it into the Nadim's we know today. You know, it's a huge milestone to celebrate and what a better way to do it with with your customers that became friends and family. Absolutely. Kashyush has since built the restaurant into a gathering place for everything from community events and private parties to cooking classes led by the chef himself. He says he now looks to the future and continues to shape the restaurant scene in downtown Springfield.
