OMG! Trying New ROAST DINNER Chicken Kievs

When I seen this in the supermarket in Iceland I thought is it a wind-up and then I thought oh it's Iceland it's a capital gimmick central isn't it so come and have a look what I got yes your eyes are not deceiving you 100% chicken breast roast dinner four chicken Kiev's 500 grams there they are there look so we have to try them the new yeah the price they were three pounds 50 so let's take a closer look at the packaging yeah they've gone nuts with the old chicken Kiev's I just like normal ones myself loads of garlic butter so let's um we've had a look at the front let's go around the back so we've got we'll start with the spiel there we've said the 500 grams we've got a pl stamp um 500 grams for roast dinner chicken Kiev's cooked chopped and formed chicken breast with gravy and vegetable filling in a breadcrumb coating some nutritional information there if you were um you know you're into that there it is there's the ingredients and they are the allergens in there just wheat in there we've got chicken breast 56 we've got um gravy sauce with the allergy advice which we've covered in ingredients in bold warning although every effort has been made to remove old bones some may remain made with 100% chicken breast means we only use chicken breast the other 44% relates to other ingredients such as coating so there's ways to cook do it in the air fryer or you can do it in the oven it's completely up to you it really is so we got any more information here um best before 29th of January 2028 so we're good for not next year the year after these are frozen yeah right let's get these open see what we have got so let's do the seal peel test um the one finger technique comes to mind here yeah that's it we're in so there's four in there oh in that little box oh yeah they are only little that's what you get look yep that's them right so this is a fantastic candidate for the air fryer these 180 degrees for 20 minutes and for best results cut from frozen which these are so yeah i think i think we'll go in the old air fryer mine's going in here so if you're to hazard a guess of the origin of the chicken where would you say it was from it's done there it is in there so let's get this out we'll have a look at it i'll put it in the middle and we'll get a knife well i've got a knife there and we'll chop through it we'll have a look inside all right let's have a look at this so i'm just going to cut it that way there's the gravy gravy's coming out so carrots pick it up that's what you get look as you're inside uh this uh this side's come out more um in fact that's that's everything apart from one little peel up so that's that's the entire contents of that half and has come out and that half now as well that's what you get and we get one two three four five six seven eight nine nine little nine little peas and a little bit of chopped up carrot look yeah that's what you get and gravy so i'll get that i'll try and get that in there and then we'll go and sit down at the table and we'll uh we'll see what it's like see what this is like please let me know what you think of these yeah i can't you can't beat the chicken kiev with load of garlic butter and oozing out can you so i managed to pack it all yeah i've managed to pack it all into that half and it's still not even full so there's plenty of chicken there's plenty of chicken the chicken is is thick thick thick chopped and formed chicken breast 100% chicken breast with a breadcrumb coating so yeah the only question is why why why not why not you look really like yeah so this chicken it just looks straight away it's like squashed and like foamy um we've got no escapees oh we've got one there look we've got an escapee trying to get away let's see what this is like it is still hot chicken and gravy with a crunchy coating we'll just leave it at that um the peas and the carrots are completely lost completely lost all i'm getting is a crunchy coating from the chicken and the chicken which is mushy foamy and the gravy the gravy's all right yeah let's um i was thinking it might be like a stuffing a stuffing sort of coating you know on on the edge on the sat on the outside you think it would be i've got some new napkins my wife got them yeah um yeah it says it says herbs concentrated onion garlic on the outside it's not like stuffing like a stuffing taste for the coating it would be good if they could sort of get it like a stuffing coating wouldn't it you know like a roast a roast dinner i do like stuffing with my roast dinner you get stuffing you get you get chicken and you get well the peas and the carrots are completely completely waste of time absolute waste of time look at you get you're getting them there look but it's completely lost yeah um for me i definitely wouldn't buy it again that's for sure definitely would not buy this again it's definitely edible that's for sure yeah definitely the gravy's okay um and and the chicken if you know if you're into your sort of well that's what it's like on a chicken cave foamy and um mushed together formed but like i say i do like a proper you know i mean we've we've actually made our own chicken caves as well with the chicken breast sort of molded it so i'll cut the chicken breast down in the middle and then sort of put the loads of garlic and butter in the inside and sort of like pushed it over and and baked them in the these are all massively mass-produced aren't they um yeah massive massive gimmick and definitely wouldn't buy again it is edible i'm going to mark it i'm going to give it a five and a half
