Capturing the moment Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited
Sep 10, 2026
We were like CCTV, you know, security guards, but we just happened to be watching the preparation
for the biggest rock and roll comeback ever.
Day one of the shooting was day one of their rehearsals, which they hadn't done before.
No one had ever filmed.
They never allowed cameras in to film rehearsals.
Other than the photograph that launched this whole tour, it was the first time they'd spent
time together in 15 years.
So our whole approach was we need to be invisible.
So we kind of rigged cameras into the room, 12 to 14 cameras, and just left them to film.
And we had to hide in a porter cabin for the whole summer, which had no air conditioning
during a heatwave.
Oh, mate.
We were like CCTV, you know, security guards, but we just happened to be watching the preparation
for the biggest rock and roll comeback ever.
What we were very keen to do was not have us in the room, you know.
So it could be the closest version of them back in the room together.
To be as relaxed as they can.
So there's no camera people in there, it's all fixed cameras.
They didn't see a single member of crew or us.
We got there before they arrived, and left after they left, and didn't come out of our
porter cabin for like six hours.
So you're there, and what will go down as a great moment in rock and roll history.
Watching it on telly.
Watching it in a porter cabin in the car park.
It's a mad thing, isn't it?
It is mad, yeah.
