Arnold Messi continues to expand his football empire. The Inter-Miami superstar has reached
an agreement to take over as the owner of Spanish second-year club CD L10s. Now the
World Cup winning captain has acquired 100% of the club shares making him the new sole owner.
The transaction now only awaits formal ratification from Spain's highest sports council
which is expected in the coming days. The club was previously owned by an international investment
group which was led by businessman Juan Carlos Trujillo. CD L10s currently sits at the 20th
position in the Spanish second division. This latest move further expands Messi's growing
football portfolio. Now remember Messi announced his retirement from international football last
month. Earlier this year Messi acquired Catalonia-based group UE Cornelia that
placed in the Spanish fifth tier. Messi has also joined forces with close friend and Inter-Miami
teammate Luis Suarez to purchase Uruguayan club Deportivo LSM. While Messi also founded the club
Leones de Rosario in his hometown back in 2015. Where Messi's brother Matias Messi serves as the
club president. Messi's Aldense will now share the Spanish second division stage with Cristiano
Ronaldo's UD Almeida. Ronaldo acquired a 25% stake in the club in February 2026 through his sports
investments staying in the Spanish second division. Messi's former Barcelona teammate
Gerard Pique has a majority stake in FC Andorra. Pique took control of the club back in 2018
as the list of high-profile footballers turning club owner goes out.
