BORA BORA - Blue Lagoon & Snorkeling with Sharks and Rays

This video is about Bora Bora which is a small South Pacific island located about 230 km northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets), it’s known for its magnificent turquoise blue lagoon protected by a coral reef and it is also a very popular luxury resort destination with some of the most stunning guest bungalows perched on stilts over the water. Two peaks rise in the middle of the main island, Mount Pahia and the impressive 727-metre-high Mount Otemanu, both dormant volcanoes. Snorkeling with the numerous blacktip and lemon sharks, manta rays, eagle rays and stingrays as well as the multitude of colourful fish was certainly a major highlight of this destination.
