I BUILT A SKETCHY WOODEN MTB TRAIL UP IN THE TREES - BUILD & RIDE!

We've got Izzy on the front, with pitch pitch. Straighter, sketchy ridgeline. I'm going to be building a North Shore style mountain bike trail in the woods behind me. They're super thick, we're going to slowly go up higher and higher and make a technical mountain bike trail hidden within these trees. Right, we're going to get straight into it then. We've put in the bottom bit to give a bit of support and then we're going to go up to a high level here where we're going to get the first sort of height going. Cool, well that's pretty secure. Alright, next support beam is going to go here. Very nice. Ooh, that's sick. Oh my god, this is going to be such a scary and good trail. Now, it's literally like it was meant to be. Look, that is actually the same height almost. And it's literally bike park secure now. That is terrifying, but... Oh, this is sick, we're in the canopy. I'm like a monkey. Yeah, so this is going to be tech. We've got to try and... We'll have to get to that end, aim to here and then it's going to be some sort of trial bit to get round there. I've had an epiphany. I'm going to put a hopper ramp here so we can go jump on and then we'll be up. This is now going to go... Thank you. Is this cool, do you think, Louis, or just stupid? It's cool, isn't it? Right, stylistically, we're going to put in a few of these slats. We go along this. See? And then to there. Let's get that turn made. Right, we're going to make this corner here a corner. We're going to put some random bits down. Yeah, that's pretty sketchy, but seems pretty decent, actually. Yes. Thank you. Oh, yeah, just fit. Loads of slats here to be used. We're now going to put this here as a stilt and we're going to connect to here and here and then this is going to be a turn section which then aims that way. Look. We've got such good stuff, so that's going to fit there. Then that there. We're getting into some exciting zones now of fun and now this is going to go here. Nice. And then we'll get another one on here and then tie them down. Right, a little slat on there. I'm going to have to bring that in a bit because they're not that thick, the slats. So we've actually got a full on turn. Wow, this is proper. Cool, and then we'll show you our newest North Shore design which is going to blow your mind. Because what we want to do is use ratchet. It's going to be like a sort of bridge that floats and has North Shore pieces on it. I don't know if it's going to work but it would be sick. So that's going to go around here in some way or another and then we need to go. This bit of wood's a bit sketchy here so I'm going to put a big support beam in the back. Oh yeah, that's so strong with that support. Right, we're now into something that could be really sketchy. We've got these two straps lined up onto this. So we're going to try and connect all these bits of wood and then have the sketchiest skinny down as the finale of this little trail. Right, look, we've put a few on now. It seems like it's going to work. Oh, that's going to be such a weird feeling riding down there. Oh, look what magically appeared. The hopper. Now if we set this in its tallest setting I think it's going to be close enough. Yes. It's time. I've got the canyon spectral here looking all lovely and ready to go. I'm just going to run the course a second so you can see how sketchy it's going to be. So I'm going to have to get a run up onto this skinny which I'm most scared of balance across here over this across this along here, round and then into sketchy alley. I'm only going to do that when I have to. Let's give it a go. Right, I'm going to do a first little test up onto this sketchy bit because see, that's going to be really difficult because I don't like skinnies as it is particularly. OK, let me just look at this section. OK, that fits the bar. That fits. Yeah, see, once you get to here, it's pretty chill. Oh, that up section is really scary. OK, let's make it happen.
