Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has accomplished everything possible in the NFL,
apart from a Super Bowl. Will 2026 be his year? After winning the Heisman Trophy with the
Louisville Cardinals in 2016, Jackson was drafted by the Ravens two years later as the 32nd pick.
Jackson was expected to be drafted higher, but slipped down the order due to team's concerns
about whether he could play quarterback in the NFL, with many believing he would be more suited
to running back or wide receiver. After posting a 6-1 record as a starter in 2018, Jackson was
13-2 the following year and was subsequently named Unanimous League MVP. Jackson, who also
led the league in touchdown passes that year, would go on to receive three first-team All-Pro
nods and four Pro Bowl nominations. The 29-year-old won his second MVP award in 2023 after leading
Baltimore to a 13-4 record. Jackson has broken multiple records during his NFL career,
including career rushing yards for a quarterback with 6,522. The Florida native also holds the
single-season record for rushing yards as a quarterback with 1,206, while also notching a
record career passer rating of 102.2. However, Jackson has only been to the AFC Championship
game once and has never made the Super Bowl, posting a 3-5 playoff record in the process.
