Explore the very heart of Vienna in stunning 4K! 🇦🇹✨ Join this relaxing walking tour through Vienna’s historic city center and discover some of the city’s most famous and beautiful landmarks, elegant streets, imperial architecture, luxury shopping, cafés and lively city squares.

Our walk begins right beside St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom), Vienna’s most iconic landmark and the spiritual and geographical heart of the city. The cathedral has stood here for centuries and is one of the most recognizable Gothic landmarks in Austria. From Stephansplatz, we continue into the elegant Graben, one of Vienna’s most famous pedestrian streets.

Along the Graben, you’ll see magnificent historic buildings, elegant shops, cafés and the impressive Plague Column (Pestsäule), a magnificent Baroque monument dating from the 17th century. We then continue along Kohlmarkt, one of Vienna’s most prestigious shopping streets, known for luxury boutiques, historic architecture and the famous Demel confectionery.

The walk continues to Michaelerplatz and the magnificent Hofburg Imperial Palace. For more than seven centuries, the Hofburg was the center of Habsburg power and today remains one of Vienna’s most important historic landmarks. The enormous palace complex includes the Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Imperial Treasury and the Spanish Riding School. (vienna.info⁠)

From the Hofburg, we head toward the beautiful Volksgarten, one of the historic green spaces in the center of Vienna, before continuing toward the Vienna State Opera. Finally, we return through Kärntner Straße, Vienna’s famous pedestrian shopping boulevard, bringing us back toward the heart of the city.
