Towns County Sheriff Kenneth Henderson surrendered himself at the jail where he has ruled since 2021. Henderson was indicted on seven charges related to his December 2024 physical altercation with a local police officer. He was released on bond and on his own recognizance; he is also being allowed to keep his firearm.
