After so many years of politicians who sold out the working men and women of our country,
we finally have a president who puts American workers first.
We're investing in the United States of America once again, and we're investing in American
workers.
I'm standing up for the American autoworker like no president has ever stood up before.
We're putting the productive, hardworking American citizen at the center of every single
thing that we do.
You saved our domestic auto industry.
So many of you are the very people who work with your hands, you work with your minds,
and you keep this great American renaissance in manufacturing going.
You are the beating heart of the United States of America, and the Trump administration will
never stop fighting for you every single day.
I see firsthand, every day, the valuable contributions by President Trump.
You all built this country.
Not the complainers, not the wise guys.
You all built this country.
The president, in his previous administration, has been very in tune to farmers and ranchers,
how important they are for the economy of this country, and it has carried over into
the second administration.
I think he's the first president in my lifetime that just constantly talks about farmers and
cares what's happening on our farm, truly cares what's happening on our farm.
It's time to reclaim our heritage as a nation of builders.
You see already, I told them no tax on kits, no tax on overtime.
Did that matter?
Yes.
President Trump and his administration are trying to get people in the skilled trades.
Skilled trades are paying more than if you went to a four-year degree.
The day that we began to make America wealthy again.
That's exactly what President Trump promised.
Consumer confidence is surging, blue-collar wages are rising rapidly.
Inflation is down, and wages are up, and I promise you, the Labor Department will be
there to skill those workers so American workers get those jobs.
