Far from Civilization _ Red Pepper Harvest and Tomato Paste for Winter_

A mountain couple harvests ripe red peppers, carries the heavy load home, and processes them into delicious homemade chili paste for the winter, before cooking a traditional village meal over a wood fire.
Follow the entire red pepper harvesting process—from picking peppers across a vast mountain garden and filling buckets and large sacks, to washing, cleaning, and carefully processing them. The thick, homemade chili paste is carefully packed into glass jars and stored as a traditional winter staple.
After completing the winter preparations, we cook a hearty outdoor meal featuring homemade flatbread, eggplant, tomatoes, and fresh peppers. Everything is prepared by hand, using seasonal ingredients and traditional Azerbaijani village cooking methods.
