Eating Unreal Foods in Shanghai (We Might Move Here...)

Our first full day exploring Shanghai, China is packed with amazing food, beautiful streets, hidden cafes, shopping, and our first look at the famous Shanghai skyline!

We start the morning with one of Shanghai's most popular breakfast foods, a Shanghai egg pancake for only $2. After breakfast, we head to Wukang Road to explore the beautiful French-style buildings and historic streets of the area.

Next, we stumble across a Harry Potter-style cafe where we try a strawberry tiramisu before continuing our walk through Shanghai. We make a quick stop at To Summer, a popular Chinese perfume brand, before heading over to Anfu Road to do some shopping and check out an Adidas store.

By lunchtime, we're on the hunt for a hidden food spot and eventually find Yang's Dumplings tucked away in the basement of a shopping mall. We try some of their famous dumplings before continuing our Shanghai food tour.

Later, we find what might be the cutest matcha we've ever had at Matcha Wang, followed by a stop at M Cubed Coffee, where we try what may be the coldest coffee in the world.

As the sun starts to go down, we head to the Bund to finally see the Shanghai skyline we've been waiting for. The massive skyscrapers and city lights are even more impressive in person.

We finish our first full day in Shanghai with dinner at Lai Lai Xiao Long, getting one more taste of authentic Chinese food before calling it a night.
