AI GeneratedThe hosts of \"You're Thinking It\" explore the \"bougie on a budget\" lifestyle, sharing strategies to achieve a luxury aesthetic without high costs. They discuss sourcing affordable fashion through consignment shops, discount retailers, and DIY customization, emphasizing that style comes from creative mixing rather than expensive price tags.
I'm thinking it.
She's thinking it.
We're thinking it.
And you're watching You're Thinking It.
Welcome back thinkers.
I'm so excited about today's episode because it's like right up my favorite lane personally.
We are doing a fashion episode.
But it's a little spin on fashion and that's what we're getting into is bougie on a budget.
So bougie on a budget.
What do you have on your arm?
On my arm?
On your arm.
So we're talking bags.
Bougie on a budget.
What's your go to?
For bags.
Well I already brought some bags.
That's what I'm about to say.
Let's just jump into it.
What we got.
Go ahead Chase.
Chase go first.
Because we want to say bags.
So I brought some bags.
I brought two variations.
Just to show for video purposes because this is why bougie on a budget became popular.
So this, I don't remember what this, I think this is called the Alma.
Yeah but this like the style is called the Alma.
Like how it's like this but this LV like this is a real Louis Vuitton bag.
It's still bougie on a budget.
I got this one from a consignment shop.
So that's like a luxury thrift store.
If you ever look up a consignment shop in whatever state or whatever area you live in
like they sell mainly luxury things for a lot.
So this, whatever retails for, I paid $500 for it and I've had this for a long time.
Okay.
And then that's why I brought this because this is like we said, it has a serial number
but I'm just really not sure if this is authentic.
Because it just doesn't age the way that this one does.
Okay.
To me.
Got it.
So I'm not sure.
I'm really not sure.
Okay.
And how much did that one cost?
And as I'm saying, this one, like I got this, my mom got this for me when I was like a kid.
Aww.
That's why it's rainbow.
I don't know.
I thank my mom.
Maybe like I said, but I feel like it's not authentic.
So it probably was like $50.
That's cute.
That's what I'm saying.
Because then it brings me to this.
Yes, y'all.
Big drip.
And I'm about to tell y'all this secret.
OMG.
Drip drip secret.
Yes.
Yeah.
Okay.
So me and Yabby were in one thing.
And we were in like, I don't know, like third Soho slash Canal Street district.
So they had a glitter bag.
And it's like, I got me this nice gem.
No, it's withholding enough.
And I think I paid like 30 US dollars.
So at the end of the day, is it a job?
And yeah, my Goyard bag.
And I love it.
And I have a little bag.
It's in the shape of a taxi.
I love it.
It's from this black owned boutique.
It's called Bags Girl Only.
So B-A-G girls only.
And you could put your lip gloss on in the mirror in the back and in the front.
And it was so cute.
She even gave me a lip gloss.
She's a smoker.
So all her stuff is like around smoke.
So this like looks like a little lighter.
As you can see.
And it's called Wine All You Want.
So and I got a taxi because my mom actually is represents taxis.
So that's why I liked it.
All right.
So I always like a pop of red, whether it is just to go out for a date night or it's just to go out.
And it's like, you know, just going to work or whatever.
So I like this travel red bag that I got here.
And I actually got this at Marshalls.
I'm what you call a discount shopper.
I just like stuff that is my type of style.
But at the same time, it's really cute.
And some of them, you know, we know the names.
And then some of them, we really don't need to know the names.
They just look cute.
Marshalls another plug.
So I got this Marshall bag.
It was $20.
I really like it.
And it has so many different compartments.
And honestly, like the straps is not too like heavy or anything.
It's evenly distributed.
And the type of quality, it feels like, feels nice.
Yeah.
Those are for the book bag girls.
And now, yeah, like I said, $20.
So then I got this Steve Matten bag recently.
Oh.
Well, I mean, I got like all this stuff recently.
But I got this Steve Matten bag from Lord & Taylor.
And if you don't know, Lord & Taylor is actually going out of business.
Yeah.
So.
Run it up.
This retailing.
Go in there and get bougie on a budget.
Yeah.
For real, for real.
But also know the sales.
So this retails at $52.
But on sale, with the 30% on bags, I actually paid $15 for this.
Oh.
Because it was already on sale.
As I'm saying, I love her.
Yes.
And then my last bag is a Calvin Klein bag.
I really like this because this is really cute and simple for, you know,
just a little night out on the town or something.
Just something that I know my money is right beside me.
But I don't got to hold it in my hand.
Really, you know, real practical.
Especially at a festival or something when you just want to look cute.
Just the wallet.
Right.
That's cute.
Boys need a good crossbody.
Absolutely.
And I bought this at DSW and it was $19.
And, you know.
Okay.
Cute little plugs.
I'm liking them.
Oh.
And then I got one more.
Yes.
We have a vendor from the pop-up.
Ooh.
Okay.
This is from Sabria.
She actually, this is from Image Matters.
Our Image Matters.
Yes.
And I actually got this in a bundle deal.
Got my own little tote.
Yes.
I also got this in a bundle deal with a shirt and everything came up to $30.
So I really like this.
Yes.
So next thing is drip.
What are you rocking for your bougie on the budget drip style?
Yeah.
For accessories, I just have this little small bag.
That's how we're going to start with one of our vendors.
Big drip.
Yeah.
So we got a little bag.
Big drip.
Twin drip.
These are some of my favorite pieces right now.
I have a couple of things.
So yes.
Ooh, I get to do the YouTubers thing.
Can you see that?
Can you hear that?
Are you getting it?
Give me real HSI.
Yes.
So this is from Twin Drip Co.
Yeah.
It's the 18 inch.
It is not real gold obviously.
I won't lie to y'all.
We're bougie on the budget.
Yes.
But you know, it's a good look to me.
Yes.
Very New York.
It's 18 inches like I said.
Exactly.
I had to get a pendant that has the Yankees sign on there.
Very NY.
Yes.
We are from New York.
I am always in a Yankees hat.
So this was just like the perfect accessory that's going to accompany my fit hats all
the time.
Yes.
And I'm also going to play ghetto scholars because soon y'all will see the hat that I
ordered from him because I like what he's doing too with the Yankees hat.
You could get me with anything with a Yankees sign on it.
Yes.
I just love New York.
And then on top of that, I don't know if I showed this piece for my birthday.
I got this at like how, I don't know how to explain it, like how we have like, oh yeah,
I got to give y'all the real deal.
You know.
So this one, which is a very nice piece.
Y'all should get a good view of it.
It is a globe with hands around it.
You know, the world's in my hands.
So I was just saying like, you know, we have like the Coliseum one Jamaica Ave and stuff
like that.
Like a regular jeweler.
I'm not saying you can find this piece anywhere.
That's why I loved it because it was just random, like something that you just got to
see.
Yeah.
That they're just selling.
Yeah.
Just a random piece.
Like how those butterflies are or the Ankhs are real popular.
Anyway, if you get one of those Ankh things.
Yeah.
And then this one, I made this the other day.
Oh, that's cute.
I'm going to put it on a different chain.
But I saw on YouTube how these girls take like the locks off their loobies and then
put them on chains.
So I did that.
Oh, cute.
I did that with the bag I wasn't using.
And then this.
A necklace you wasn't using.
A necklace.
No, I'm saying I took the lock from a bag that I don't wear.
Oh, that's so cute.
Because I wouldn't take it from like one of these because then, you know, it would just
look empty.
But yeah, that's on a bag that I don't wear.
The handle broke.
Yeah.
And then this, I got this from a thrift store.
I got this from American Thrift actually.
And like, you know, rest in peace Pop Smoke.
I'm from New York.
Rest in peace Pop Smoke.
So I just had to get this because it just might be him because it's like Dior.
It's like Dior.
Dior actually makes a bracelet just like this.
I'm not sure where somebody got this inspired one from, but shout out to them because it
was like $2.99.
Yeah.
It's Dior to me.
And like I'm saying, when y'all see me out, tell me that it doesn't look like Dior.
Please lie and tell me.
I look like I'm in Dior.
So, I mean, who would tell you that it's not Dior?
You don't know.
I just told y'all.
If y'all didn't see this, you don't even know.
So that's it.
So we started with the accessories.
So, back to what she said, twin dribs, you know.
So, I honestly, as I've said before, I do not wear accessories.
I'm trying to get my accessories up now because I think that's a way that I want to reinvent
myself.
Yeah.
So I really am trying to get into it.
So, I got a ring from Twin Drib Co. as well because I was just here for the ring.
I actually wanted it to be a pinky ring, but you know, we're going to get the pinky ring
on too, but that's going to be a little, that's going to be a little stud for the pinky.
Because it's like your nails are always done.
So that's what I'm saying.
It's real cute.
And then, yeah, so this also, not real, but this is from Shop Gold.
It's Shop GLD.
And I got this like for Black Friday.
And I think it was like $110 or something.
It's not real, but it's been a minute.
It does not turn.
And she's shiny.
And she has a warranty.
Yes, she does have a warranty.
And I be feeling it.
I'm not going to hold you.
I be feeling it.
That's what I'm saying.
Send me a sponsor code.
I'm not there with the diamonds.
They have real ones too.
If Jade Achieved has a real necklace or not.
You can get this for $10,000 on their site as well too.
You can't.
I didn't.
You won't.
Yeah.
Cardi B has, of course she has the real diamonds, but yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
A lot of employees.
And I'm almost like, hold up.
Is that me?
You wouldn't know.
It's shiny.
I don't know if Ari's necklace doesn't be real.
Now, I just brought this out because actually Shea inspired me.
I complete, this has been like.
I didn't bring mine, but I wear mine religiously.
I don't even know where, I have like a whole bunch of necklaces.
I don't even know where they all are.
I think I gave some away to my nieces.
I guess it's like a kicker or something.
But.
You gave it away.
This is Juicy Couture.
Now I know y'all remember that.
That used to be mad expensive.
Y'all know I don't even use it.
I still have the box.
And it's big drift.
And I have a whole bunch of stuff.
So I actually wore this when I went out on a date last week.
Ooh, you have a lot of pieces.
And yeah, I do.
So this one, it's like a rusted pink.
Oh, the pink one?
I have the black one.
I remember when that got released.
That pewter.
This is like, yeah.
I love that.
That's one.
I have about three of those pieces.
I still kept them.
I feel like you because when Juicy went out, I have no idea what I did with them.
That's what I'm saying.
And you know, got the little charms.
I used to really go in.
I remember when Pandora came in.
So why did Juicy charms go out?
That's what I'm saying.
And they're both not regular.
Bring your Juicy bag, girls.
Bring your Juicy bag.
Bracelet.
Ooh.
So they know you about money.
Because when we was in middle school.
That used to be, yo.
It was a $200 set.
Yo.
I used to have.
It was a $200 set.
Yo, like.
Talk about it.
Holiday.
Expensive.
I'm telling you.
This is like 80-ish.
Yo.
Lil Rainbow.
I should bring this out for pride.
What am I doing?
I need a baby clip into my hair.
Ooh, Kim.
That's what I'm saying.
Skirt.
We talking out loud.
Christmas.
It's a look.
Y'all gonna see me.
Wait and see.
I'm loving it.
And then last but not least.
Actually, I really do like this.
And I don't know why I stopped wearing it.
But it's like, look.
See?
It's really a simple.
Like, you stopped wearing it.
And I used to have matching earrings.
Yeah, I remember.
But this is like a little.
Did you stop wearing it because they said Juicy was out?
I don't know.
It's a little heart.
And it's just a little chain.
It's very.
I mean, a bracelet.
It's very cute.
And I used to have matching earrings.
I used to love the earrings.
Say you want to buy that right now.
That's what I'm saying.
But you're right.
You're right.
And that's about it.
So y'all gonna see me doing a little bit more with my necklaces and my rings.
Earrings, probably not.
But I'm here for the.
I'm trying to pull the necklace.
Yeah, I wouldn't just keep the rings over here.
Yes, it does.
I don't want to be wearing rings.
But yeah.
And also, from one of our vendors, I got this from Shady Vibes.
Oh, yes.
That was one of our vendors.
She's also my Minx Blink, which is on my eye.
OK.
Yes.
But yeah, that's cute.
And this was, I believe it was under $10 if I'm not mistaken.
Probably.
So I really like this because, you know, it's just something eclectic.
You know, I'm West Indian.
So who doesn't want some shells?
Like, you know, it's real nice.
And then, of course, we gotta have the drip.
Like, we have to have the drip.
Where'd you get the ring from?
This is from Twin Drip.
Yo!
Twin Drip code!
Purple gold!
Twin Drip code down!
Bring it by the strip shop.
And there are actually three of them.
So it's really funny.
And I really like this because my birthstone is Amber.
Which, I'm a November baby, so.
Nice!
Scorpios got the nerve to have Amber as their name.
Right?
I think, well, I thought Amber was calm.
Yeah.
I'm confused, but anyway.
I am calm, so somebody fucks with me.
And then, also, I got this boss chain from our, um...
Oh, my God!
I got all three of us boss chains because we are all bosses in our own right.
Yep.
And that came from Avon with Angela.
With Angela Barnes, right?
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
And then, I also got this from Emerald Gems.
Ooh!
Emerald Gems.
I love that.
That's beautiful.
And she actually wrapped this on-site.
And she actually wrapped it.
I really love that.
And, also, when you have...
What stone is that?
So, this one...
Ooh.
You about to get me on this one.
You picked it?
I didn't pick it.
Lauren picked it for me for entrepreneurship.
Oh, I like that.
Okay.
Yes.
So, I have to answer me.
It looks like silver, and it's wrapped in gold.
Usually, when I pick a stone, I know the back story.
I get the little slip.
However, this stone was picked for me because I am an entrepreneur.
So, I didn't get all of that.
But we will get back to you guys on that.
I like the fact that she wrapped it on-site.
I also like the fact that she...
Her energy was real good.
When you're buying stones, you want to buy a stone from somebody whose energy is good.
Yeah.
We had a steel pan out there by our pop-up.
Yes.
And this was $15, and I feel like the great thing about...
Yeah.
I feel like the great thing...
If you're into stones, if you're into crystals, if you're into gems and stuff like that, I
feel like sometimes you could get, you know, something that's $15, and to somebody else
is real regal.
It's real expensive because, let's be honest...
We here on the boujee of the budget.
Yeah, on the boujee of the budget.
And at the end of the day, what's better than precious stones?
I'm just saying.
Yeah.
And...
Yeah.
And then also, getting into boujee on a budget when it comes to the eclectic or, you know,
Afrocentric-ness, I actually like this chain for your arm.
And it clasps...
Oh, these are the arm clasps.
Yeah.
So it clasps to your arm in three different places.
And it just gives you...
I do like that.
She's done that too before.
Very similar.
And it gives you very tribal vibes.
But guess what?
I was not about to make tribal vibes for somebody to do a handcrafted one for me.
Don't get me wrong.
I will buy it on a special occasion for a birthday or something.
But, you know, just if I'm going to a festival or whatever, this cost me $11.99.
As opposed to somebody's $100, $200, $300...
We here for it.
$11.99.
Okay.
You've been put on.
Yes, in Astoria.
We got that in Astoria, right close to Steinway.
And then...
We giving y'all little gems in New York, y'all.
Jamaica, Steinway, Canal.
And then this is my last one for our haul from our pop-up, Aurora Armoire, which is
run by my friend, Jess.
And one thing...
One of our key fans.
Shout out, Jess.
Shout out.
Always commenting.
We love you, girl.
And what I love about these earrings is this earring is just fantastic for when you're
just going out on a date night and you just need a little zest.
You know, a little...
A little chandelier.
Yes.
And then you...
Like that would've been for you.
Yes.
A nice black dress, some cute shoes, and a nice bag.
And that's it.
Like, you could have maybe a little bracelet or something.
But she is...
This is a...
This is a fashion piece.
Yes, a fashion piece.
Yes.
So, there you go.
I like that.
Yes.
I can't talk about bougie on a budget without talking about the main pieces, which is clothes.
What are y'all wearing?
What is your bougie on a budget outfit and what does it look like and who is it from?
So, we'll just get all my stuff out the way.
Boom, boom, boom.
Yes.
This is my favorite type of video.
I love to show clothes and stuff.
So, my bougie on a budget, like I'll let you guys know.
I just recently got back into thrifting.
But, I mean, whatever the topic...
I don't remember the exact topic of how we touched on fashion.
I think it was just a get ready with me.
But I was telling you guys in my get ready with me that you know, like I said, we're...
You're always gonna see me mixing a little nude designer with a little vintage, little
old designer, some Jordans, you know, something called some Yeezys, like I said.
Like Yeezys are new, but I might wear Yeezys with like really nice true religions.
And other people are wearing Balenciaga.
I mean, what's that?
Bormain.
Other people are wearing Bormain.
Well, actually, see what I mean?
So, Bormain was in when A Boogie first came out and now it's Amiri.
Like, that's why I don't have time for the jeans.
I don't have time for the jean thing.
I don't have time for the jean thing because I wish I would pay $1,500 for jeans.
Amiri's is in for 20 more years if I spend that money.
They're in.
So, anyway, it consists of, like I said, you know, mix and drip.
So, it's like sometimes I have on American Eagle jeans, but then my shirt is some type
of designer.
So, back into our vendors that were at our pop-up shop, I haven't wore it yet, but I
did bring my shirt from Uptempo to show.
Two young scholars from Brooklyn.
Yeah, like, I like how they explained it.
The front is real straightforward.
It just says their brand on it.
Nobody knows what Uptempo is as far as right now, so it's like somebody's going to ask
me who makes that shirt because they're going to see the back.
So cute.
And the back is when I get into, like I said, anything with NY on it is going to get me.
It's like, I like it.
It gives me like a little scripted skeleton version of the New York sign.
So, I like that.
So, a good tee.
Some other tees I brought.
I didn't bring like too, too many, but we're on Bougie on a budget, so I'm going to go
to this one first because, like how we talked about Marshalls, if y'all live by Century
21.
What is this?
Moschino?
Oh.
Little Moschino.
Don't get y'all into Century 21 if you live by Century 21 because $12.
That's what I'm talking about.
Like, I don't know what everybody else Moschino costs, but I know I made Moschino because
it was $12 and that's why it works out for me.
Yeah.
So, you know.
And then, this is my favorite piece of my collection right now because like, this is
like, this is like the hardest ---- to ever drop.
I used to be big, big, big, big.
The sneakers.
Everything.
Yeah.
The hats.
I'm wearing that shirt.
I want a Von Dutch hat before I order the Ed Hardy hat, so I'm going to order the Von
Dutch hat first.
But after the Von Dutch hat, I'm ordering the Ed Hardy hat.
But, I got this on eBay.
That's another place I'm big, big, big on shopping.
If you don't know how to shop on eBay, I feel bad for you because I know people get to eBay
and they're confused like how I just find things like that.
But it's like, you have to sift through.
Yeah.
Virtually.
You have to sift through.
But I knew I wanted like the classic one with rhinestones.
I got another one from the thrift store with no rhinestones, but I wanted a long sleeve
one with rhinestones because I wanted to wear it as a dress and I found it.
And this was like $11.
So.
That's how I do.
And I don't know how much Ed Hardy shirts used to cost back in the day.
It wasn't all $11.
Some were $25, $50.
Yeah.
And then the last shirts that I wanted to show was my Helmut Lang shirt because it's
another one of my statement pieces because if you know Helmut Lang, like, I'm pretty
sure this shirt exactly retails for like $200 for a t-shirt.
It's pretty much just a t-shirt.
So, it's nice that it says Helmut Lang on it.
That's why I wanted it.
But I got that off Saks or Fifth Ave, so that's like the outlet version of Saks.
Yeah.
So, that was like $40.
Okay.
So, that's a New York shirt.
So, those are all my shirts.
Oh, and I did just bring some sweaters because I wanted to talk about that too.
We're going into the fall months.
We're going into fall.
Yeah.
So, these two.
Oh, and you bleached it.
I did bleach it.
Like a little spray bottle?
Yeah.
I did a little spray bottle bleach exactly.
Nice.
And where'd you get these sweaters from?
So, I got these sweaters and this one actually specifically I wanted to see.
This one's Gildan, which people, you know, a lot of people who make their own brands
print on Gildan because it's a pretty okay quality other than Champion.
So, those were $5.99 at the variety store I was sending to Jembro.
So, I always, they have Champion in there.
They have Puma in there sometimes.
If you need a white tee.
Yeah, like that's what I'm saying.
I go into stores like that for basic stuff.
All summer I was wearing jeans, shorts, and white beaters.
So, it's like I went in there, you get a whole pack for like $2.
Like, why not?
Black sweatpants that say nothing on it.
This style right now, if you, Fashion Nova.
Yeah.
That all these places are charging like $60 altogether when you get the top and the bottom
for like a crew neck with matching blue sweatpants for it to have this little splattered bleach
thing.
Yeah.
Or even if you wanted, the next thing I'm going to do is tie dye something.
Yeah.
So, I have to get rubber bands to actually do the tie dye method.
But, it's like, what they're charging for these tie dye sweatsuits, like make your own.
Like I said, those sweaters were $5.99 each and the bottoms are as well.
I didn't bring the bottoms.
Who didn't have that activity in school?
Yeah, like do some tie dye when you're bored.
We're all on quarantine.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, we're all on quarantine.
And then, I brought, once again, talking about the tie dye phase right now.
I got these from this store that we have on Long Island.
I saw one in Astoria too as well.
I want to drive to Astoria to see what they have.
Denise.
So, these were like $3.99 at Denise.
And it's like, when I wear these with my Flyknits and my Hope McLean shirt, it's like giving
me very expensive for some reason.
This is giving me, with the Goyard bag, this is giving me expensive.
I like it.
You know?
And then, we have these.
I've told y'all about my Nike craze.
So, these retail for like $1.20.
I don't know why Nike charges $1.20 for leggings.
So, I got these at Burlington.
Boom.
Another plug.
Burlington.
Marshalls, Burlington, TJ Maxx, Century 21, Nordstrom Racks.
All of those are discount stores like Joyce said.
Whether you're actually looking for brands or not.
Like, I go looking for brands.
But, either way, you're going to see something nice.
And then, these are my new fave.
Well, I'm going to be the green powerpuff girl for Halloween.
Yes.
Anyway, I've just been thinking about her.
So, I got these from American Thrift.
Nice.
And they were literally $4.
Wow.
And I got me some, you know, they look high-waisted.
You got some good pieces in there.
Nike Prom.
Yes.
$4.
That's cute.
So, I was very happy about that.
And so, that's tops, bottoms.
And last but not least, because we're talking about fall.
I just brought some denim stuff.
Because, just like this, denim over everything.
Just, as long as it looks good quality.
So.
And you can also just dress it to make it look a little better.
Of course.
Put your rips in it.
Tie it.
So, that's what I got this one for.
I actually also, in American Thrift, ended up finding a classic Levi's.
So, you know, always good on Levi's.
So, this is just, yeah, a classic Levi's jean jacket.
So, I don't know if I'm going to like super distress it or not.
Or bleach it.
Or do like a half and half thing I've been wanting to do.
I don't know what I'm going to do.
Okay.
But, that was like $15.
You know, it's a Levi's.
So, they don't, they still try to be a little stiff on the price.
And then my last piece of denim.
That's cute.
This is like an extended denim jacket.
Like, it just covers my butt a little bit.
But, this is Zara.
And, I also got this at the thrift store.
And, this was like $8.
Nice.
And, it's by Zara.
And, we don't know what Zara charges for anything.
$200.
So.
Yeah, definitely.
And, that's nice.
So, $8 for a Zara jean jacket.
And, I don't know if it came like this.
Or, it was already distressed.
But, either way, shout out to them.
Yes.
And, then also, Zara is also sold at Century 21.
So, that's what we were saying.
Like, yeah.
Just go into these stores, guys.
Like I said, I don't know about y'all.
But, I've never been in the Louis store for a Louis bag.
Real or not.
And, I have both.
Never go into Nike for Nike clothes.
Like, just don't.
I just wouldn't.
Yeah.
I just personally wouldn't.
Yeah.
Discount shopping is the best.
We have to plug ourselves real quick.
Our face masks are in, guys.
Woo!
We were selling them at our pop-up shop.
And, they come in three colors.
That one as well.
And, I know y'all see this brand.
Because, like I said, I shopped at Jembro.
And, all the masks, the cute little camel ones I buy from Jembro, are usually by this brand.
Fashion Mask.
So, this one.
That's white.
This is white.
Here's one of the package.
Look at that.
That's Almera.
With the You're Thinking It under it.
And, then last but not least.
Do we have any black ones left?
Oh, here we go.
And, that's a black one.
So, everyone's thinking it.
We already know that.
You've been thinking it.
I've been thinking it.
The crew's been thinking it.
You've been thinking that we should get merch.
Exactly.
So, we did.
And, y'all should think the t-shirts will come soon.
And, they will be.
Yeah.
So, yes.
It's $10.
And, we will have our market up soon on our Instagram and our Facebook.
But, until that's up.
Please feel free.
At You're Underscore Thinking Underscore It.
Or, You're Thinking It on Facebook.
You can just direct message us.
And, we will ship one off to you.
It's $10.
And, we will charge you for shipping according to where you are.
So, make sure y'all buy that.
Okay.
And, um.
You got your pieces.
Yeah.
Get into some more clothes, y'all.
Yes.
So, Sherri talked about clothes.
And, because, you know, that's her lane.
Let's be honest.
Um.
But, for me.
I am more of.
I go shopping sparingly.
Um.
And, when I go shopping.
I'm, like I said.
I'm always looking for a deal.
And, I also still want to get a bang for my buck.
You know.
And, I still want to get good quality.
Yeah.
Good quality.
So, these two pieces came from Lord & Taylor.
I love Lord & Taylor.
It's sad that they're gone.
Y'all better run it up.
Oh, definitely.
Run it up.
And, Century 21.
Yeah.
Going out of business.
Yeah.
It's tragic.
It is.
So, like I said before.
With the red ticket.
You know.
Red ticket.
That's the lowest price.
And, then you get a 30% off of that.
So, this is Vera Moda.
Oh, okay.
Yes.
And, um.
I wrote.
The original price was 59.
I got this for 20.
Oh, okay.
And, um.
Full body.
Yeah.
It's like a dress.
It's a dress with a wrap.
And, it's good for.
You know.
Work.
Yeah.
Work.
And, then you can put a.
Barbecue.
Yeah.
You can put a pair of leggings.
And, do like a little longer shirt look.
You can definitely do that as well.
Um.
I have the black one on.
Cause you know.
20 dollars.
She got it in black.
Angry.
Okay.
Let's be honest.
You know.
Yes.
And, I love it.
Yes.
And, it's warm too.
Yeah.
Cause y'all be cold in the office.
Absolutely.
And, then.
Um.
One thing that I love about.
Um.
One thing I love about Lord & Taylor is their BCBG collection.
So, this is BCBG generation.
And, I had to get it.
I just.
I had to get it.
It is not.
Another long one.
It is not red ticketed.
However.
Anybody could tell you BCBG could cost you easily.
One piece.
100 dollars.
We have the little splits on the side.
Yeah.
Oh.
So, I'm going to put her.
Because you know.
It's getting colder.
So, I'm wearing.
Full boots.
Yeah.
Boots.
Very much.
Like I said.
A good jean jacket.
Whatever you want to do like that.
Yeah.
Yep.
And, this was 40 something.
So, it was.
It was alright.
I felt like.
If I waited any longer.
She wouldn't be there when I got back.
So, definitely have to pick up.
That's cute.
Some tips on how we shop.
And.
What we look for.
Um.
In terms of ticketed items.
And, how to weigh things out.
So, um.
I'll go first.
For me.
I.
When I'm going to a big store.
Like Lord & Taylor.
Like Century 21.
To help myself out.
Um.
Instead of saying.
What is this?
What is 20% off?
Like.
What is 20% off of this?
What is.
You know.
30% off of that?
I take a picture of the palette.
Um.
That shows you 20%.
Off of 10.
This.
I take a picture.
On my phone.
And, then I walk around with that.
And, then also.
Before checking out.
Sometimes you're thinking 20.
30%.
Just put it.
You know.
Just put it on.
On your arm.
Put it.
You know.
I mean.
You don't really think about the price.
So.
I.
Before I even leave.
I do add up my tickets.
So that I know exactly how much.
And, am I on budget?
Because.
At the end of the day.
Who's you on the budget?
So.
What are some of your tips.
For people.
To.
Um.
Think of?
Well.
When I go shopping.
For me.
It's not necessarily.
On budget.
Like.
I don't leave the house.
And, say.
Like.
Okay.
I'm only going to spend 150 today.
I just know.
Like I said.
I kind of shop.
By brand.
First.
And, then.
I shop.
By item.
Like.
I know.
I'm looking for Nike.
And, then.
When I go through the store.
Everything Nike.
I start finding.
It's like.
Alright.
Well.
I have enough Nike leggings.
But, I found.
Nice Nike zip ups.
Like.
So.
I shop by brand.
And, then.
I shop by like.
What I need.
And, then.
What gets me.
To pay for it.
Is just comparing retail.
Like.
I'm always going to buy sneakers.
If Yeezy's are retailing for 200.
And, I see them on eBay for 220.
I'm getting them.
Because.
It's just that simple.
They retail for 200.
Somebody's only selling them for 20 dollars more.
So.
Especially.
When it works reverse.
If something retails for 50 dollars.
Like.
When I pick up all that Juicy.
At Burlington.
Yeah.
I don't necessarily.
Go in the store.
Looking for Juicy.
I don't necessarily need more Juicy.
But.
If you walk into some black Juicy sweatpants.
That are 12 dollars.
I'm going to just get them.
Yeah.
So.
It's just that simple.
Just know what a good deal is.
Yeah.
I just shop for the brands that I want.
And, then.
Yeah.
Just know.
Like I said.
Some people.
Like.
How you talked about the jacket.
Like.
Some people might be like.
I don't know how much.
Like.
A Tommy jacket is going for right now.
So.
I don't know if that's a good price.
You know.
If you know what something's going for.
Then you know if you're getting it for a good price.
Or not.
That'll help you walk away from it.
Feeling good.
That's true.
Yeah.
I like cheap.
Bougie on a budget.
Cheap.
Yeah.
Bang for my buck.
Yeah.
And like we said.
The stores to look out for.
Your variety stores.
You know.
The things that.
Your inexpensive lady stores.
Like the rainbows.
And stuff like that.
The Jimbros.
Your Marshalls.
Your TJ Maxx.
Your consignment stores.
Your thrifting.
And just.
Don't be afraid to try and.
Find what you're looking for.
And make it your own thing.
The best thing about the 21st century.
Is that.
People are trendy.
And cute.
And vintage.
When you bring out things that are no longer.
In style.
So there's.
You can't never look wrong.
As long as you put it all together well.
So.
Just have fun.
You can just get creative.
And.
As Shay said.
Be encouraged to try and make your own stuff.
Buy something that's plain.
Like I bought black jeans today.
And I put it all to the side.
Because I'm going to cut it up.
So.
You know.
Have fun.
And just explore.
So enjoy.
Like.
Biker shorts.
Forward super.
And.
That you're waiting for shipping.
And buying them on Fashion Nova.
For like.
$10.99.
$12.99.
Whatever they consider a deal.
If you have some leggings.
That just aren't going up.
All the way anymore.
Like.
Where the little crotch area is.
If you cut them into biker shorts.
They'll go up the rest of the way.
Because now they're short.
Same thing with jeans.
Yeah.
And then.
Rework it.
Revamp it.
Yeah.
And then.
Also.
