This Peanut Milk Recipe Became a Million-Dollar Secret! _ Top DIY

Have you ever wondered how a simple peanut milk recipe could help turn a restaurant into a million-dollar business? No sugar. No cornstarch. No artificial thickeners. Just a few simple ingredients to create a rich, creamy peanut milk that's incredibly smooth and naturally nutty. But the real secret isn't the ingredients. It's one simple step that most people completely overlook. And today, I'm going to show you exactly what it is. First, prepare 500 grams of raw peanuts. But don't choose your peanuts randomly. Look for large, plump, firm peanuts because good-quality peanuts will give your milk a naturally richer flavor and a deeper aroma. First, pick out any moldy, spoiled, shriveled, or unusual-smelling peanuts. Just a few poor-quality peanuts can affect the flavor of the entire batch of milk. Next, wash the peanuts thoroughly to remove any dust and impurities from the surface. Drain them, then spread them out in a single layer and let them dry completely. This is a small but very important step. The drier the peanuts are before roasting, the more evenly they will roast, helping both the skins and kernels cook evenly. Once the peanuts are completely dry, place them in an air fryer. If you have a large amount of peanuts, divide them into two to three batches instead of overcrowding the basket. This allows the hot air to circulate better and helps the peanuts roast more evenly. Set the temperature to 180 to 190 degrees Celsius, 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and start roasting. Every five minutes or so, remove the basket and shake or stir the peanuts so they are exposed to the heat evenly. After about 10 to 12 minutes, start checking the peanuts frequently, as the actual roasting time can vary depending on the power of your air fryer. When the skins become darker and begin to crack slightly, the kernels turn a creamy golden color, and the roasted peanut aroma becomes noticeable. The peanuts are cooked, but don't take them out just yet. This is one of the secrets of this recipe. Roast them for another two to three minutes. Watching them carefully so they develop a deeper golden color and a richer roasted aroma. The goal is not to roast them until they become very dark, but to achieve a deeper golden color and a rich pronounced aroma without any burnt smell. When the kernels have turned a deep golden brown color, give off a distinct roasted peanut aroma and show no sign of burning, they're ready. This slightly deeper roast is what gives the finished peanut milk a deeper, richer, and more appealing peanut flavor. And today, I'm going to show you exactly what it is. Most people skip this step, and that's exactly why their peanut milk never turns out truly smooth. Place the peanuts in a clean towel and let them cool slightly until they're still warm to the touch. Now gently rub them to loosen the skins. It's nice to know that we see each other all over the world. If you haven't subscribed to my channel yet, you can subscribe by clicking the subscribe button. It's great to see your support. For any peanuts that still have the skins attached, remove them by hand. Then sift the peanuts through a coarse mesh sieve to completely remove the loosened skins. This isn't just about giving the peanuts a more beautiful golden color. Removing the skins also helps reduce their slightly astringent taste, allowing the roasted peanut flavor to become smoother, richer, and more pronounced. At the same time, when you blend and strain the peanuts, you'll get a cleaner, smoother milk. And now, we have beautifully deep golden peanuts that are intensely aromatic and wonderfully rich. But don't think we're finished yet. This is only the first step because the next secret is what truly transforms these roasted peanuts into a smooth, rich, creamy peanut milk packed with flavor. Next comes the secret to giving this milk its natural thickness without adding any thickener. We'll use about 300 to 350 grams of sticky corn, either fresh or frozen. If you're using frozen sticky corn, thaw it completely before processing. If you're using fresh corn, remove the husk and silk, wash it thoroughly, then cut the kernels off the cob. And here's a little trick that makes removing the kernels quick while keeping them nice and intact. First, break the corn cob in half. Then, use the tip of a pair of scissors to press into the cob while gently twisting it from side to side to loosen the core. Once one row of kernels has been opened up, the remaining rows become much easier to remove. The corn kernels come off quite neatly and stay relatively intact. And this method makes the whole process much faster. Next, place 300 to 350 grams of sticky corn kernels in a steamer and steam until fully cooked. I prefer steaming rather than boiling to limit the amount of direct contact the corn has with water, helping prevent the mixture from becoming unnecessarily diluted later. For fresh corn, steam for about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how mature the kernels are. If you're using frozen corn, simply steam until the kernels are hot and completely tender. After steaming, take a close look at the kernels. When they become plump, glossy, and slightly translucent, while the naturally sweet aroma of corn begins to fill the air, that's a good sign that the sticky corn is fully tender. At this point, remove the corn and let it cool slightly before blending. And now comes the interesting part. We're not going to blend the corn separately. Instead, the steamed sticky corn will be blended directly together with the roasted peanuts. Why? Because the peanuts provide natural fat, richness, and a deep, nutty flavor, while the sticky corn provides natural starch, which helps give the mixture more body and thickness after cooking. That's what makes sticky corn so special in this recipe. Now, add the peanuts and corn to a blender, then add part of the total 3 liters of water. Blend on high speed until the mixture is very smooth. If your blender has a smaller capacity, divide the ingredients into several batches so the blender can work more easily. For this amount of ingredients, I divide it into 2 batches. And there's one thing you should not do. Don't add all 3 liters of water at once. Start with just enough water to allow the blades to move easily. Then, gradually add the remaining water while blending. This helps grind the peanuts more thoroughly and gives the mixture a smoother, more uniform consistency. After blending, you'll notice that the mixture has a naturally creamy color, a distinct roasted peanut aroma, and a thicker consistency than some other nut milks. This is exactly the texture we're looking for. The thickness comes from the natural starch in the sticky corn, combined with the richness and body provided by the peanuts, rather than relying on an added thickener. Next, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to obtain smooth, clean milk. But don't throw away the pulp just yet. There's still plenty of flavor and natural peanut fat left in it. Return the pulp to the blender. Add the remaining corn, peanuts, and some of the water. Then blend and strain it once again. Finally, add more water to the remaining pulp. Blend thoroughly and strain it one last time. By extracting the ingredients several times, we can make the most of the remaining flavor and natural fat from the peanuts. The total amount of water used for the entire blending and straining process is 3 liters. And now, we have a peanut milk mixture with a naturally creamy color, a rich, roasted peanut aroma, and natural thickness from the sticky corn. But there's still one very important step left. It's the step that determines whether this milk will truly be smooth, rich, and delicious. Next, and cook over low to medium-low heat. As it cooks, stir evenly and frequently, especially along the bottom of the pot. This helps prevent the starch from the sticky corn from settling, sticking, or burning on the bottom. When the milk begins to gently simmer, if any foam rises to the surface, you can skim it off to make the finished milk look cleaner and smoother. Then, reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for a few more minutes, while continuing to stir. Where are you watching from? Please leave a comment to let me know. At this point, you'll begin to notice a clear change. The milk will gradually become thicker, smoother, and beautifully full-bodied. Once it reaches the consistency you want, turn off the heat and let the milk cool slightly. If you prefer it sweeter, this is when you can add a little agave syrup, maple syrup, or honey, depending on your preference. You can enjoy the peanut milk warm or chilled. Personally, I prefer drinking it while it's still warm, because the aroma of the roasted peanuts is more pronounced. When you pour it into a glass, you'll notice a light, creamy golden color, with a smooth, slightly thick consistency that flows a little more slowly than many other nut milks. If you don't drink it all, let the milk cool completely, then pour it into a clean bottle and store it in the refrigerator. Once chilled, the milk may become slightly thicker and develop an even smoother consistency. Up close, the surface of the milk looks smooth with a subtle sheen. It isn't overly thick, but it still has enough body to give you a rich and satisfying mouthfeel. Bring the glass closer, and you'll notice the deep, roasted aroma of the peanuts, combined with a subtle natural aroma from the sticky corn. When you taste it, the milk is rich, nutty, deeply aromatic, and wonderfully smooth, making it very easy to drink. Most importantly, the gentle natural sweetness of the sticky corn adds a subtle sweetness that helps balance the richness of the peanuts. And what I love most is that the finished milk still has that homemade feel, while having the smooth texture and polished appearance of a premium nut milk. This is the final result of the entire process. Richness from the peanuts, natural thickness from the sticky corn, and a smooth texture without the need for added thickeners. The video ends here.
