A comprehensive review of Day 2 of our Oracle GoldenGate 23ai training. The session covered:
• How Microservices Architecture (MSA), introduced in 2017, modernizes GoldenGate with REST-API-based services.
• Core MSA components including the Service Manager, Administrator Server, Distribution Server, Receiver Server, and Performance Metrics Server, along with the transition from Data Pump and Collector processes.
• Benefits of upgrading to GoldenGate 23ai, including improved throughput, AI-driven automation, strengthened security, and better multi-cloud/OCI integration.
• A side-by-side comparison of GoldenGate 21c vs. 23ai highlighting enhancements in AI, security, cloud capabilities, tuning, and database support.
• End-to-end GoldenGate 23ai data movement flow from Extract to Replicat using Distribution and Receiver Servers.
