Good morning, everyone.
We're back from a very, very rainy walk.
Rue's come home and tucked herself straight into bed.
And quite honestly,
I feel like I could really do the same today.
I got in, had a shower, put my pajamas back on,
as you can see, and now I'm gonna get ready for the day,
but I just, it's that time of the month,
so I really feel like I could just crawl into bed
and watch films all day and just be cozy.
We are gonna have a pretty chilled, cozy day today,
but there's a couple of things I need to pop out
this morning and get,
like I need to go to the palm shop and things.
But I thought we would get ready together this morning
because following on from what we were talking about
right at the end of last week's video,
so if you saw last week's video,
I was just kind of talking about
how I really want to work on feeling more confident
in my own skin and how that's been something
I've honestly struggled with forever,
which is kind of strange really
because I don't wear a lot of makeup anyway,
so it's not like there's a huge, huge difference.
I don't know, I just feel like even having
the tiniest bit of makeup on just makes me,
I think it's almost like a comfort blanket sort of thing.
I just felt like it'd be quite nice
to kind of follow on that conversation
by getting ready together today
and just, yeah, just trying to get more comfortable.
And your comments, honestly, just,
I don't even have the words to say thank you.
They were so kind.
I've seen them all, I've read them all.
I cannot tell you, that's definitely what's given me
the confidence to come on and just think,
even though this is like possibly
my least confident time of the month.
If you're a girl, you'll totally get that.
It's like my skin is all breaking out
because one thing I will be getting
is hormonal breakouts around my mouth.
Every single month, same time, always something.
And also, don't you just feel like more swollen?
Like my whole face kind of feels swollen.
But yeah, it's definitely all of your support last week
and just how unbelievably kind your comments were.
That's made me feel like, let's do this.
So I've cleansed my skin.
I've done my moisturizer.
I've done my eyebrows
because that can be a little bit painful.
And then, like I said last week, my lips are tattooed.
I actually had lots of questions on that.
So maybe I'll answer a little question on that on Instagram.
Now I'm gonna prep my skin
using the Merit Great Skin Instant Glow Serum.
This will come as no surprise.
And it will also come as no surprise to you
that most of my makeup bag is Merit
because I think Merit is probably one of the brands
I've talked to you about for the longest time
because they're minimalistic.
I've been talking about for years.
It's pretty much my hero product.
It comes absolutely everywhere with me.
And I've also been working with Merit for years,
which is such a nice partnership
because they're the products
that are in my makeup bag anyway.
Okay, so I'm gonna go ahead
and do two pumps of this into my hand.
I do two because I've got pretty
normal kind of combination skin.
And then because I've got a clean Merit number one brush,
which by the way is the best makeup brush
that's ever been made,
I'm gonna put it on with a brush today.
This brush just makes everything blend
into the skin so effortlessly.
Also, my mirror's down here,
so if I'm looking down here, that's what I'm doing.
I'm actually gonna have a little bit more
just for my forehead today, I think,
because it blends in so well.
My skin is drinking it up today.
It instantly plumps and hydrates your skin
because it's got four different types
of hyaluronic acid and 2% niacinamide.
And it's designed to be paired
with my favourite product ever,
which is the Minimalist.
And I just feel like it really helps
your makeup to go on even more effortlessly,
blend easier, and I also think it helps
to keep my makeup in place as well throughout the day.
So then my favourite product of all time,
the Minimalistic.
So mine is in shade Linen,
which has been my shade for years.
This is honestly my hero, hero product.
I've got one in every single handbag of mine,
and I take it everywhere
because it's this really perfect blend
of kind of a foundation and also a concealer.
I probably apply it really weirdly
because I kind of just centre all the product
around the middle of my face
because I feel like this is where
I get my breakouts around my mouth,
I like to conceal underneath my eyes,
and then also I sometimes get
like a little bit of redness around my nose.
So I like to keep all the product
more sort of focused around those areas
that I feel like I need a little bit of extra coverage,
and then I can just blend it
to the rest of my face as well.
This is also a really, really buildable product.
So in the areas that you might want
a little bit more coverage,
like for me on my breakout here,
I'll just go back in in a second
and just apply a little bit extra.
This also has sea daffodil extract in,
which helps to reduce the appearance
of things like pigmentation and dark spots,
which I feel like I really appreciate
around this time of the month.
Okay, I'm just adding a little bit of colour
back into my face now.
But do you see how much just a little bit of product
goes a really, really long way with the Minimalistic,
and how it's just really helped to even out my skin tone
and then give me that extra bit of coverage?
I love that product.
So I'm now doing a bit of blush.
This is the Flush Balm in shade Archival.
And then again, just blending out so effortlessly
with the Merit No. 1 brush.
Truly, this is the best makeup brush on the market,
and I will stand by that.
Nothing blends the way that this brush blends.
Okay, I just curled my lashes,
and then I put on a little bit of this Merit Mascara.
This is the Clean Volume Mascara in brown.
And this was actually my first time
using this mascara in brown, and wow.
Genuinely a really, really incredible mascara.
So once again, I've been fully converted
to another Merit makeup product in my makeup bag.
And then I'm just gonna finish everything up using,
let me just check what shade.
This is the Tinted Lip Oil in shade Biarritz,
which is again, the shade that I've always, always used,
just to get some colour.
Such a nice, natural colour.
Back into my lips.
And that is my makeup for the day.
It probably took me,
well, it maybe took me 10 minutes today
because I was talking to you,
but normally it probably takes me five minutes,
and it just makes all the difference.
I truly cannot tell you how highly
I recommend the Merit products.
I recommend them to everyone in my life.
I'm pretty sure most of my friends,
most of my family have bought
at least the Minimalistic on my recommendation
because there is just nothing like it.
The formula is just incredible.
It's so easy to just keep in your handbag.
It works for everything, for all occasions.
It works for when you just wanna put a little bit on,
like I have done today,
all the way up to if you're going on like a night out
and you want really full coverage.
It's just the best product ever.
Oh, and also, trust me on the brush.
I promise you won't regret the brush.
It is the best brush there is on the market, hands down,
and I will stand on that.
So what I will do is I'll make sure I put a list
in my description of all of the products
and all of the shades that I have just used.
Also, I almost forgot to mention
that with your first order,
you will also get one of their signature makeup bags
which have been redesigned.
They're in this really gorgeous like ribbed blue material
and I use my one of these every single day.
It's my everyday makeup bag.
So I'll make sure that I put all of the links
that you need in my description
and now I'm gonna go and get dressed for the day.
Okay, outfit of the day.
The sun has now come out
but I don't know how long that will last
but this is what I'm wearing anyway.
Well, let's not even talk about the jeans and the boots
because, well, we've probably seen them
5,000 times at this point
but I'm of course wearing the only jeans that I ever wear,
the only boots that I ever wear.
I think they stopped making these
but if not, I will of course link them
but I'm pretty sure, I don't think they're online anymore
but the jumper, this is new.
I kind of didn't know if this would work on me
because I felt like it might be
quite similar to my hair color
and it might all just be a lot of one color.
I really like the neckline.
I like the little button details
and it's just like such an easy throw on layer
and I actually love the color now that it's here
but I've got some other things I wanted to show you.
I've been doing a little bit of online shopping.
This is my season for shopping though.
Summer, I just can't get excited about summer clothes
for autumn clothes.
That's when the shopping happens
but I wanted to get your opinion.
I haven't taken the labels out of this yet.
It feels like something that will probably sell out.
I'd actually be surprised if it wasn't already sold out.
Don't mind the label.
We'll just tuck that in until we've made a decision.
If you can't tell,
I'm a huge, huge fan of like a really high collar.
I just love feeling like really all tucked in
but I think I really, really like it.
It's like a really nice, again, kind of transitional,
it's not too heavyweight, it's not too warm
but it's a really good layer
and I just, I really like the leather details.
Obviously you can fold the collar down more as well
and it's like this leather on the inside of the collar
same as on the shoulders but I'll give you a spin.
If by some miracle, this is still in stock
because this really feels to me like it won't be
because it looks so good on the model as well
and it's in like the most gorgeous green colour.
The more I look at it actually,
the more I'm definitely keeping it
so I'll find out what size I got.
I think I got a size small
but in my description with the links,
I'll also put what sizes I'm wearing.
You can cut that label out now
but I've got another thing too.
Again, it was the neckline that really sold me on this.
It's got this really cool like little,
I don't even know what you would call this,
like almost, it's not a buckle.
You know, this little detail here on the neck
that I thought was really cool
and it is really a shirt like it sort of gives jacket
but it's actually just like lightweight like a shirt
which again, perfect because as you can see,
I mean if the sun stays out today,
it will probably end up being quite warm
but then it's also September
so I don't want to be wearing summer clothes
and with something like this,
I feel like the colours and the pattern are very autumn
but you're not going to be boiling hot.
It's also just really big and loose and comfortable
and like so easy to throw on.
Honestly, if something is uncomfortable
or like itchy or tight or overstimulating,
it's just not getting worn.
Like I'm never ever taking it out of my wardrobe.
I've made that mistake one too many times.
It doesn't matter how good it looks,
it doesn't matter how cool it is,
how pretty it is, whatever.
If it's uncomfortable, I'm not wearing it.
It's just not going to happen.
So I like that this is just so easy to wear.
Do you know what?
The more that I look at it, the more it grows on me
but let me know what you think.
Anyway, they're just a couple of bits
that I wanted to show you before we head out.
So I'm going to put my jumper back on
and then we're going to go over to Dalesford
A, because I need to get some bits to make dinner with
but also I just really want to look at their new collection
because I know they will have done their like summer...
I've actually seen online they've got their...
I don't know what they call it
but it's like their autumn harvest kind of display.
So I thought we'd go over and do that together.
We're just having a tea and cake break.
This is a banana and three seed butter muffin
and then I've just got an Earl Grey with milk
and mum's got a peppermint tea.
Rui, do you need an acorn?
That's cute, isn't it mum?
Do you need this acorn?
Mum thinks she potentially needs a broccoli.
Do you want this Rui?
Look.
Or maybe Rui needs an autumn leaf.
Okay, I have actually found something that Rui might need.
This is one of our favourite brands.
She loves this James & Ella
and they've done a pumpkin spice dog treat.
I was just saying to mum,
this is just about as nice as a dog bag gets.
So practical as well.
So many pockets and then obviously they're in there.
I honestly think these might be my favourite flowers.
Every time I see them,
I'll have to try and grow them I guess in the new garden.
Someone who knows far more than me
will know if that's going to be easy or hard
but they're so pretty.
I saw these being made on the Jailsford Instagram
and they're all handmade and I think they're so nice
and what I didn't realise is they're actually chocolate brown.
Thought they were black.
So now I like them even more and I might need this one.
These napkins are very sweet.
Okay, Jailsford done.
Fuelled up on tea and that banana muffin.
You must try if you go to Jailsford.
It's so, it's like the perfect sweet but not sickly sweet.
10 out of 10.
Also, do you want to know the tea on Jailsford?
I don't know if I'm supposed to know this
so I won't say he told me
but I've been told by a very, very reliable source.
I mean, I'm guessing it's going to be public knowledge this week
if it does happen
but apparently Jailsford are stopping photos and filming in the farm shop
so that may well have been our last trip to Jailsford together
which is so sad.
I mean, I kind of get it because I think
especially if you go to Jailsford at the weekend, it's so busy
and then if everyone's also taking photos and videos and things,
I mean, I'm not judging.
I'm the last person that could judge.
I just think, I guess for people
who are just trying to actually do like their food shop or whatever,
I sort of get it but it does make me really sad
because we love a Jailsford trip
and that may well have been our last Jailsford trip
where I'm able to take you along
but we'll see how it goes because you never know.
Maybe it doesn't happen, maybe they change their mind
but I just thought I would give you the tea on Jailsford.
Apparently, that's coming in this week so we'll see.
Anyway, I got what I needed
and I just thought since we're driving through,
I would call in at Stowe and just see what the shops have got in
and just see if they've got any like really nice autumn bits in,
especially like home decor.
I want to go to the Cotswold Company.
Haven't been there for ages
and there's another really, really nice little shop in Stowe
which I can never remember the name of
but I wanted to have a look in there as well.
So just as we're driving through,
I thought we could just pop in and have a look at a couple of shops.
This is nice.
I really like the colours of this.
The texture on this is also really nice
and it's got kind of like a green thread running through it
and then this is kind of similar but the opposite colour
so more green, I guess, than white
but that's really nice too
and I like this one too.
This bedspread is also very cosy.
This is nice and it's corduroy.
Look at how sweet this is.
Okay, we're home and I've just made a cup of tea
and I've been having a flick through the Y Company Autumn 2026 magazine
because this was in my letterbox when I got home.
Look at this, for example.
I really like this.
It's a bit different but do you see this fringed cushion?
I thought that was quite different.
I love that.
And just the way that they've layered the textures and the fabrics
and all the different colours,
it's just, it makes me feel like I want all of it
and I need my house to look like this.
Even the front cover this year
makes me feel like I need to go and make a hot chocolate,
pull out my biggest cosy jumper
and I was also looking through at their autumn candles.
I don't think they've ever owned, actually, a Y Company autumn candle.
I love the one at the back with all of the apple slices in it.
They've just got so many.
I think basically the conclusion is
we need a trip to the Y Company
and we might be able to go this evening
because my friend Georgie and I have just really spontaneously booked
a trip to the cinema.
It just felt like a cinema kind of evening.
We booked a film that neither of us actually know anything about,
haven't watched the trailer,
can't even remember what it's called.
We basically just scrolled through and saw the timings and things
and there's one this evening that's on an earlier showing
because I really am all for an early cinema screening
that's got Callum Turner in.
So we just thought we'd go and see it
and find out when we're in there what it's about
because sometimes I feel like trailers give away 90%
of what's going to happen in the film.
So we'll see how that goes but the cinema's in Cheltenham
and you know what else is in Cheltenham?
The Y Company.
So I thought what we could do is if I get changed quickly and leave
we will probably have time to just have a bit of a wander around Cheltenham.
We can go to the Y Company and just have a bit of a browse
and see what kind of autumn bits the shops have got in
but I will be getting changed because something I won't be doing
is going to the cinema in jeans.
Absolutely not.
The cinema is for tracksuits and tracksuits only
although now that we're going to have a walk around Cheltenham
maybe I need to take the tracksuit with me and get changed
and then I got some bits for dinner from Dales Vidalia
so we'll make dinner when we get home
which is the best thing about going to the cinema early
because when I get home I still have time to have my evening, make my dinner
just really here for like a four, five o'clock cinema screening.
So let's get changed and head into Cheltenham.
Is there anything more inviting than a chair in a bookshop on a rainy day?
Quite possibly the last thing that I need more of is books
but where am I?
The bookshop.
How can you go past a bookshop on a rainy day?
Impossible.
Okay I'm gonna give you like random no context reviews
like one word, one sentence reviews of just books that I've read
like as and when I see them.
Essential autumn reading will completely, completely break your heart
but one of the best books I've ever read.
Kind of cosy crime, like really easy reading, comforting.
It definitely won't be the best book you've ever read
or the best work of literature
but if you've got something like a flight
and you just need a complete page turner
this is that.
Immediately yes.
Okay I'm in anthropology.
This smells delicious, look how cute it is.
And they have this one, apple orchard.
I really wish that I loved the smell of these
but I just don't but they're so nice.
I'm so happy that my friends are having babies
so that I can shop in this bit of the white company.
I had no idea that Le Creuset do like a Halloween kind of edition.
They've got mugs, little dishes
but this is the colour that I actually came for.
I really want a big oven dish in this time colour.
Something about me is I've never actually tried an M&S cooking.
They've got their huge Halloween section that they have every year.
This kind of feels like a crime but I'm also tempted.
Okay I'm changed and ready.
Okay well I'll tell you what we have learnt this evening.
Watching a film trailer before you go and see a film in the cinema
turns out good idea.
Actually really really good idea
but you honestly couldn't make it up.
Like I feel like nine times out of ten
if you were to just do what we did
spontaneously book a film, it's got pretty big actors in it
you don't know anything about it
I would say nine times out of ten it would probably be a decent film
or at the very least a somewhat normal film.
Well that was not what happened to us this evening.
That film was by far one of the most bizarre
just like completely ridiculous films I think I've possibly ever seen.
Half of the film Georgie and I spent just laughing
like looking at each other and laughing thinking what on earth is going on.
At no point in that film did either of us really have a grasp of exactly what's going on.
Honestly I don't know it was just the most bizarre.
So firstly the whole film was pretty much about
which had I have maybe given the title of the film a bit more thought
it's called One Night Only
and I did think actually just before I went
I was telling my parents that I'm going to the cinema with Georgie
and they were saying oh what are you going to see
and I said one night only
and I thought to myself that kind of sounds like one night stand type of thing
and that's the first time I thought I wonder what this film actually is about.
Well that's exactly what it was about and the concept of this film
I won't ruin it for you
although I've got to say probably wouldn't recommend you go and see it
because it's just the most ridiculous film.
Do you know what it would be a good film for?
Do you know when you're just you're with your friends
you want something on in the background
you're going to be chatting you're not going to pay that much attention
and it's just like something to have on in the background
or if you're really hungover and you just need to like
not have to really pay attention
just some mildly amusing like background noise it would be good for that.
But yeah the whole concept was basically that the government
has made it illegal for unmarried couples to have relations
let's just put it that way except for one night a year
which is what this film is like all about that one night a year
and it's about Callum Turner and another girl the other actress
and it's kind of like a love story sort of thing.
All I can say is it's mildly amusing
it was funny a little bit at certain points but it's just bizarre.
It's not what I was expecting like I kind of thought clearly wrongly so
I thought Callum Turner was like a serious actor
whereas this was giving like a Netflix original just silly
you know that kind of film that had that tone about it
like it was a comedy I guess and it was funny in parts
but it just wasn't you know when it's not at all what you're expecting
I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that
and you just couldn't make it up like of all the films
that you could choose to randomly see
but anyway it was funny it was funny because I was with Georgie
and we were just thinking honestly what the actual f is going on in this film
so we still had a really nice evening it was still the cinema
we still had our cup of tea had our snacks and had a good catch-up
so it was still it was not a waste of an evening
it was still a really really nice evening
now we're home obviously and it's dinner time
it's actually way past dinner time but the cinema snacks have kept me going
so I'm going to make what I'm basically making it's like a tortellini soup
I think I made this I've definitely made it before
I probably made it with you before but it's one of those meals
that's just so easy to throw together and it's so good
and it's still got like you've got your veg in there
you've got all of your like tomatoes and garlic
and all the healthy things in there as well
so it's one that I really like making when I just feel like
I want an easy comforting delicious dinner
so the soup kind of base to what we're making is exactly the same
as the soup that we made together last week
so I'm not going to show you too much of making the soup
because you can go back and see that in last week's vlog
the soup itself is the only bit that takes any time
I mean it's like the easiest time because it's all in the oven time
so you're not having to like actually do anything
but it probably takes like 45 minutes to an hour in the oven
to roast basically the tomatoes the red pepper the garlic and everything
and then once your soup is done it probably takes five minutes
for everything else to come together
so I'm going to show you what goes into it
and then I'll show you roughly how I just like put it all together
but trust me this is like the perfect
week night or any night of the week
but when you just want something that's like
it feels like it would take effort but actually it takes zero effort
it's such a good one so let me show you what's going into it
okay the washing machine is on in the background
so just excuse that but this is pretty much what you need
so this is just the same as last week
tomatoes red pepper a whole garlic
and then some stock will go in with that
and I'll just roast it in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour
and then blend it and that's kind of our soup stock
then I've gone for the this is the deliciously a la range
and this one is creamy butternut squash and sage
which I thought sounded quite like cozy autumnal
so I thought we'd go with that one
and then I have got this this is the best
I actually wanted to get the sausages because they do these tofu sausages
they are the best thing but I've not seen them for ages
so anyway I just went with the block of tofu
and I've done the basil one
this is like elite top tier but you might need to remortgage your house level tofu
then I've got some rainbow chard from the farm shop
so that's freshly grown these are also from the farm shop
so they should be really fresh
and that's the main basis of the meal
anything else I'll show you kind of as we go
so first things first I just need to chop all of this up
cover it with olive oil
add the stock in
add some herbs spices that sort of thing
and then put it into the oven
but I'm not going to show you this because this is what we did together last week
and the recipe for this bit is in the description of last week's video
okay I'm going to pop this in the oven now
okay so then I've just prepped everything else
this is literally all that you need
and I've ripped the tofu up so this is half of that block
and I ripped it up because it kind of gives
like this is meant to be imitating like a sausage tortellini kind of soup
I just thought if I ripped it up it kind of gives that impression
it's so good
I cannot tell you how good this specific tofu is
and then I just chopped the greens up
cavolo nero works really well in this as well
spinach would work just whatever greens really
and then this is half a pack of the tortellini
and when the soup is done and I've blended it
I'll basically just throw everything in
probably put the pasta in first and let it cook in the soup
and that's how easy this is
okay I've added a little bit of the soup
not all of it because it will do for a couple of days
but I've added some of it into this pan
and now I'm going to first things first add in the tortellini
let that cook a little bit
actually to do what?
I feel like we can also add in the tofu as well at the same time
and then I'm just going to bring that up
so it kind of like simmers and all cooks
and then when it's nearer to being done I will add in the greens
I also added in a little bit more stock directly into this pan
just so there was more liquid to cook the pasta
okay adding in
actually I don't know whether I need all this
let's add some in and see how we go
yeah that's probably good
okay we are good to go
I don't really know the best way to do this
honestly maybe I should just put like pour the whole pan
does this not just look like honestly autumn in a recipe
looks so good
let's try it
I already know this is good because everything in it is so good
yeah that might truly be one of the best things I've ever made
you have to try this
but you need the exact tofu
good morning
I'm joining you from the car this morning
I've got my sunglasses on
which quite honestly don't talk to you about it
it's rude
I'm trying to do autumn
I'm trying to embrace autumn
and it's sunny and warm today
we're not going to let that stand in the way
because it's still going to be a really lovely cozy autumn day
I'm actually
so what I'm actually doing is
I've got to go down to a place near to Bath to look at cars
because I need a new car
and one of the cars that I want to go and look at
I haven't really decided yet
I'm still like figuring out what car I want to go for
trying to work out all the differences between different cars
because cars is not my area
I do not know anything other than that one's pretty
and that one's not
that's about all I know about cars
so anyway
one of the cars that I want to look at
there's one that is down near to Bath
I thought since we were all the way down right next to Bath
we could pop into Bath
I'm going to go with my mum
going to get some lunch
have a wander around
to me Bath is just like the most autumnal place
I don't know why
probably because I went to university there
so then you go back to uni in September
maybe that's it
but to me Bath and autumn they're just the same thing
so we'll probably go again
definitely go again before the end of autumn
because we won't have that long today
but I thought we would just make the most of being there to Bath
and have a bit of a look around
so I'm taking you with me
I think these wicker candles must be new this year
because I've never seen them before
I don't love how they smell
but I think they look really nice
these are also really nice
our favourite is the tomato leaf
which kind of smells like the Dalesford
tomato vine
they're really nice
these are so nice
good evening everyone
welcome to the crazy house
I've got both the girls this evening
that reminds me actually
I got a DM from somebody the other day
saying why do you show one of your dogs
so much more than the other
and that made me feel so sad
as if I would do that
they were both my dogs
well you are my dog aren't you Pop
but Poppy is our family dog
she is
how old are you Poppy?
I think you're 12
so I've had Poppy
like all of my adult life
all my family's had Poppy
but all of my
in fact obviously we got Poppy
when I was still at school
and then this little monkey
this is my dog
or Kenny and I got Roo together
and Roo is five
I realised that context
like I probably referred to it here and there
but I realised you might not have that context
if you haven't seen all my videos
but yeah what's wrong
do you want to come up?
come here Poppy
come for cuddles
no?
so yeah this little one lives with me
Roo is mine
and Poppy is
obviously she lives with my parents
but the reason that
they're both in almost every vlog
is I only live about 10 minutes from my parents
so I see my mum every single day
because the two dogs are so bonded
like Roo would be so lost without Poppy
I don't even want to get into that conversation
because obviously there's a huge age gap
between the dogs
and I know that some of you know this
but about six months ago
Poppy was diagnosed with a heart condition
she's doing really well
and we haven't seen any signs of like anything getting worse
touch wood
fingers crossed
but I do sometimes think
because Roo is her favourite thing in the world
even if I just say look at this
Poppy
yeah that's you
you're right
is that your favourite best friend little one?
I think Roo was basically raised by Poppy
and once upon a time our family cat Willow
but we lost Willow I think last year
anyway I've got both of them tonight
so I don't know
I feel like I told about 12 different stories in that
but basically because I live so near to my parents
we share the dogs a lot
so I've got them tonight
because my dad's away
and my mum wants to go do stuff in the morning
so I just said I'll have them
Poppy can have a sleepover
but anyway got back from bath earlier today
it's now later in the evening
didn't find a car
the car was not the one
so gonna have to keep looking
I've just got to kind of figure out
I'm thinking I'm going to get a hybrid next time
because my car's just a diesel car
and I thought about fully electric
but I just don't know
I don't know
but anyway that is a really really boring story
but as and when
I found a car
obviously you guys will see it
and you'll know about it
what other updates have I got for you?
the house we're in like a waiting phase now
where we just need to get permissions
and get builders and trades people
and all the people that we need
lined up and sorted
before we can actually start the work
so as soon as things start happening
we'll be the first to know
I think you pretty much had all the updates for this week
there's not been a lot going on has there
tiny girl
I cannot cope when Rue lies like this
you're just a little baby
yes you're just a little baby
so I think me and the girls
are just gonna have a cozy night in
aren't we?
we'll all be in here
and I'm gonna watch some tv
on the iMac behind you
um I don't know what to watch
I really would love a new series
like a new really really good series
like maybe even like
not a thriller
but you know something that you just like
cannot wait for the next episode
I know that slow horses will come back out
um at some point in September
but yeah in the meantime
just something like that
you know something that's just got like
a really good gripping plot
that you just can't wait
like every evening to come and watch
so I'm going to try and find something
but if anyone's got any recommendations
please do share
for just like
I'm trying to think of an example of another series
I know there's another series of The Gentleman coming on
or might it may already be on
but I don't know if I even watched
I really liked The Gentleman film
but I don't think I really got on with the series that well
so maybe I could give that another go
if we think that's good
I love you
you are just a little baby
Rue's teeth honestly
I wish I could show them to you
they are like the size of
I can't even think of anything
her bottom teeth especially
where are you going
they are so tiny
like I can't even think of anything
that's that small
they're like half a grain of rice
not even
they're so small
anyway we're going to take ourselves to bed
me and two dogs
aren't we
I actually can't have Poppy in the bed
because something about Poppy
is she will take up
like having Rue in the bed
Rue just sleeps right at the end of the bed
like in a tiny ball
doesn't really move much
I don't even know she's there
but something about Poppy
she will be sleeping in the middle of the bed
and she will be kicking you out of the bed
like there is no
she's not
there's no politeness
no manners
she says this is where I'm sleeping
and you will be moving
so I can't have Poppy in the bed unfortunately
otherwise we would have to sleep on the floor
wouldn't we Rue
anyway thank you so much for being here
thank you for spending a couple of days with me
and I hope you have the best week ever
and I can't wait to catch up with you next weekend
bye guys
