Influenced by Typhoon Saudel and days of heavy rain, a mudslide struck Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province at around 4 a.m. on September 5. Authorities said 12 homes were damaged. 3 people have been rescued, including 1 person who died, while 11 others remain missing.
