Creating my dream cottage garden🌱

Good morning y'all. I have not filmed or been on here in like three weeks which is kind of crazy and feels weird. I'm not gonna make a habit of that. I just kind of had a lot of like stressful life stuff going on and I wasn't really in the mental space to kind of create and film. So I took a little break but I'm happy to say that I am back and I'm very excited because this week is going to be very fun. It is finally spring and we are jumping right into it. I am very lucky and grateful to have so many different little spaces to garden around my cottage. So that's what we're going to be working on this week. This whole week is going to be about gardening which is my cup of tea. I am very very excited. It's kind of my perfect ideal week and I think it's the perfect thing to kind of get me back into the realm of filming again, doing something that I really really love. I think our first mission today is going to be kind of my back patio area. It's it's such a mess. It is pretty ugly to be honest and we're gonna make it beautiful and cute because it's really ugly but it has a lot of potential. Also it is officially lizard season which is the lizard season girl's favorite season. The girls love lizards and since I live in a hundred year old barn cottage a lot of lizards come inside and the girls find them and they play with them and I try to save as many as I can but yeah there's gonna be a lot more lizard content. Anyways let's let's get started on the day. Um honestly feel free to judge me because it does look absolutely terrible out here. So let me let me let me just show you. So this is what we're working with. It's uh it's seen better days. Also this lemon tree or what used to be a lemon tree I got so frustrated with it I just like put it out here to die and then now it is like growing back and I don't know if you can see it but now it's decided it wants to live. So the plan of action is to clean up this whole area and make it beautiful. A lot of this stuff is going to be going into the ground like I've got some Russian sage and stuff over there. I've got some regular garden sage and then once we get this all cleaned up I bought two um raised beds and we're gonna put them we're gonna build them and we're gonna put them right here instead of having just a million pots. It'll be it'll be really cute and it's a beautiful day outside so yay. Freya are you fun? Who are you? Oh you're fun. Oh my goodness she is the cutest baby in the whole world. I am sweating and my camera is overheating. I think I'm about to change it to my iPhone because I think my camera cannot make it out here. I can barely make it out here. It also is like smoky. It looks smoky. Is there a fire? Maybe it. Anyways. This we have our very first lizard in the house. Okay hey hey let me get it let me get it let mommy get it. Oh you got it in your pocket. Hey hey let me get it let me get it let mommy have it let mommy have it let mommy have it. Very first lizard. Poor fawn doesn't know I caught it so they're still looking for it. Color of the day is yellow. Okay no more banana. I'm tired of that. Okay so we are going to go back to the farm market for the last time this week to go pick up another round of flowers. I'm usually buying flowers like all summer but I just want to get like one more wagon full and then start planting today because I these babies need to get in the ground. You know what I mean?
